I definitely think the main strength of Skadi is that god power. Freeze is an absurd power as long as you have your army do literally *anything* other than sit there for the duration smacking the frozen units. If all you're doing is smacking the frozen units, you're basically freezing your own army in addition to the opponents, and freeze is a lot less good when it's double sided.
I haven't picked up retold yet, but are your build guides still good for retold or no? I'm 100% comp stopper started playing again, hard ai can be quite a challenge for me just found your channel not long ago. Love content, you're my favorite AOM YTer.
Regular reminder of a few Ideas to improve your videos: - Make your self-view (the window that shows yourself) less intrusive. It really takes away a lot of valuable screen area! Use cropping, down-sizing, or cutting out your background (like Moose AOM does) - About 10 min into the game: If you find the time quickly go over who picked up which relics. Relics seem really influential and it's nice you go over them in the beginning. But what really matters in the end is who gets which in the end! - optional, but really cool: Make it such that viewer's don't get spoiled the length of the game by looking at the length of video by adding just quiet black screen time in the end. That way even a shorter game would get same video length like long one. Makes watching early game much more interesting because you don't know in advance whether it goes late-game or not! As usual, great casting! huge fan of your channel.
Lol! I actually wrote this comment before the end of the first game. So there I was being sure it would go late game bc video so long, but alas it did not! Speaking of my last point above!!
I think it is in the ladder but in pro games I guess not because it gives the other player time to build up behind as they're villagers are still gathering resources

In the second game, grass forgot to make villagers after hitting heroic age, so that would be from 29:44 to 35:02 when he realises. ONE OF US!

Adding a black screen at the end would mess up the viewer retention, which I believe will negatively impact his exposure by the algorythm

Is it not worth it to destroy enemy forward production structures? Keep seeing players ignoring enemy forward building after they won a skirmish
