You explain everything so clearly and well. Plus it is a simple, beautiful pattern. I started today making one for my daughter for Christmas.
This is a great pattern I can do when I want to multitask a bit, since you don't have to worry about counting numbers of stitches, where to go is mapped out for you from the previous row really nicely.

I was so happy to find this easy to follow video for making a scarf. My son called me two days before Christmas to let me know he was bringing a guest to Christmas. She is an avid crocheter and does remarkable pieces. I wanted to be able to give her a gift, so I made this scarf. It took me a day and a half of pretty steady work. The scalloped edges is what makes it really pretty.

I do wish more RUclipsrs would consider the backgrounds when filming. So often I have abandoned watching just because I can't see the yarn as it's the same colour as the background. Robin, thank you so much for all your recent help! As you might remember, I'm still very much a newbie and am still learning stitches. I had thought I wouldn't take the plunge on my first 'real' project until I'd learned to do doubles. But, thanks to happily trawling your other videos this week while doing my half double trial panel, and thus letting RUclips know what I was doing, this video was in my recommendations last night. I've just rewatched it and will get started on my scarf tomorrow. As a craft teacher myself, I truly appeciate the time you give to your videos and students. Thank you ❤️

As a crochet beginner looked everywhere for a scarf pattern that would work for a skinny scarf. I prefer UK terms but you made the US version easy with clear instructions. Thank you
