Glad to see you riding in our country with horses everywhere haha, greetz to Marion, hopefully her hard work is paying of while you are enjoying your neverending vacation-trip. Just kidding, great vid and big love for you both.
Hehe yeah that is one of the first things I noticed when I came there. All the horses everywhere 😅 Marion has been super disciplined the last year! And at the beginning of this month she actually handed in her thesis and defended it 😁 I know she doesn’t like it, but I have to brag 😅😝 All 5 of the jury members said hers was the best theses they had ever read and urged her to publish it as a book!!! 😛😁
As we are seeing this in the last week of Dec there's nothing else to say apart from belated MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄and a HAPPY NEW YEAR🍾🥂🍺🍺🍷🍷🥃Slainte, to you Marion and Ken'. 🤔 PS I hope Marions hard work paid off 🤗.
Hope you have had a good Christmas too, and happy new year 🎆🎈🎊 Marion is now a doctor of literature 🎉😁 and the worlds foremost expert in her particular field 😛 so I would say it has paid off 😛
The thing with the weather is, it's not personal. Hot grips and heated waistcoat make a massive difference. Warm and wet is not so bad. Haven't been to Groningen before. I'll add it to my list! Ride safe 👍
Hehe yeah that is true… it can feel personal through when it feels like the rain is following you for days 😅 I’ve never had heated grips, so I don’t know what that is like. And I think I don’t want to get used to it either because then I probably can’t go back 😅 I want to explore more of this city. It seems interesting 🤔 Have a happy new year 🎉🥳😛
@RidetheBean seriously, try heated grips. There is no going back. ( I recommend Oxford). A power pack vest is much cheaper than a bike one. Marion will thank you.. And happy new year to you both, too. 🥃
Hmmm, I too have gotten to ride all across Belgium in the rain, with Google Maps (because my Garmin died) routing me right through Brussels, where I didn't need to go....did get nodded at by a couple of Belgium cops also caught in the deluge. Remember, if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride! Happy New Years and many happy miles! (ok, kilometers) 24:29 Sidecar action!
Hehe yeah I guess that is true 😅 I have ridden in all sorts of weather. Storms, heatwaves, blizzards and strong winds. The only thing stopping me from riding is the damn salt they put on the roads in winter 🤬 it eats up the bike so I can’t ride 😞 Happy new year to you too 🎉😛
Hi Guy, I live in Groningen and follow you on RUclips, if you come back to Groningen you can stay with us. I am also a motorcyclist and often come for trip to Norway. I ride a Royal Enfield Himalayan and a Triumph Thruxton 900 cafe racer. Hilsen fra Jan Spijkerman
Wish I knee before I came there 😅 But thank you 😛 I will probably come back there at some point, but not sure exactly when… wouldn’t be great to take you up on that offer 😛 I have been thinking of the Himalayan as a bike for Marion. You think it would suit her?
@@RidetheBean the Himalayan is a very nice en excellent bike. I ride 25.000n km on the bike. it is my third bike now. last year I was two months in Norway (alone lovely) my wife rides a Hunter, because she is small. she is 163cm. what is the length of Marion? we wish you a nice 2025 and many bike km.
God nytt år Kenneth 👍🍻
Oh wow!!! Tusen takk!!! 😀

to me coffee shops in Amsterdam are places where you can smoke marihuana.
Hehe yeah this always confuses people😅😂 I go to coffee shops everywhere I go, but in Amsterdam people have different experiences when I say it 😂
Takk!
Oh wow!!! 😮
Thank you sooo much!! 😀
Wish you a happy new year 🎆🎊😛
