I’m trying to wrap my brain around all this, so that I could make a Volca clock divider in the same Vocca format. seeing this, gives me hope.

Awesome! Let me know if you end up making one.

Hey mate, love this projects! the random functionality is a nice addition! I understand the code and wiring isnt at the point which you would like to share, but when it is definitely let me know! :)

Love it! Now I'm going to have that groove in my head the rest of the day. 😆🥁
BTW I've done worse solder jobs than that!
I'd love if you could talk about the code that drives it.

Thanks! I had to de-solder and re-solder some of the connections on the board that holds the Nano at least 4 times.
I don't think I'm quite ready to release the source code yet. Maybe sometime in the near future.

I understand you didn't feel like the code was ready to release two months ago, has your position changed?

Do you have the source code posted anywhere?

hey bro, could i have a look inside the code?
i struggle here with the "sm tik tok" from the arduino homepage
maybe the look inside urs would help me to fix the issue

Any issues using only 5v for clock? I know some gear expects 10v for trig but most probably use threshold much lower.

So far, no issues. My hardware rack is pretty small at the moment so I haven't tested it in a large range of scenarios.

If the gear you are talking about is eurorack a trig of 10 volts would be difficult to implement. I think you are probably thinking about CV levels peaking at about 10 volts because that is about the max output of most opamps running on a eurorack supply. Triggers are normally 5 V and under usually with anything above 5 being fine too as long as it's over the voltage threshold for that circuit to count it as a trigger, clock, or gate.

I'm not sure I'm going to release anything at the moment. I still have a bit of work I'd like to do on it before calling it done.
