Bikin lu ketawa terus, mikir mau makan terus. Boro2 mikirin ribut. 3. Internet udah murah, cari edukasi dari internet, gak semua yg lu baca harus lu telen mentah2, cari opini, review, dan validitas review tsb. 4. Jangan salahin marijuana, gw tau yg gak setuju sama ganja legal itu sebagian besar karna agama. Coba cek komen atas2, di ketawain tuh ama bule ngomong ganja bisa bikin OD. kena doktrin tetangga yg agak bego . Jadi nya??? Ya sama2 bego. Upss mabok agama juga bikin bego. Mabok ganja bikin???? if you guys make this kind of topics in indonesia, y'all should call one of the guys from Lingkar Ganja Nusantara, they were spreading all the knowledge about ganja and how the progress of it's legalization in in indonesia
We aren't ready for legalization even for medical purposses bcs: 1. lot of underage smokers (a lot) 2. its forbidden to get "high" in major religion (islam) and the extremist will... ykwim 3. tobacco company will do anything to stop legalization but still i hope in the future they will legalize it :)
points 1 and 3 go hand in hand. More smokers == more consumers for the businesses; AKA the market is ripe. I bet that the tbacco companies wouldn't mind if it's legalized, as long as they are granted the (sole?) permission to produce and distribute. There is no emotions when it comes to business. It's all about $$$. Finally, the "religious" whatever is tolerated; and used as a distraction, checks and balances. Anyone that interferes with a major source of government funding will be trimmed (put in their place). I think that this issue should be primarily from the business lens; not the medical lens.
As a muslim myself it's forbidden to use something that will make you high, it considered a sin. But there are exceptions, such as the use of alcohol to warm the body in a country with cold weather and only as necessary it is prohibited to overdo it, if the use of marijuana is used for medical purposes I think it will allowed. In islam if an item / activity has more harm than good (mudarat) then it's prohibited (Haram). Only God knows the intention the people to use it, so whether it is sinful or not, only God and the people whose use it knows. But most of the marijuana is used not for beneficial purposes, more for personal pleasure that is why it is forbidden. I'm not a religious expert but I'm just straightening out information.
@@dylanroll5192 Actually i was stating the opposite. Making things illegal will push people to pursue them with worse means, and also create illegal markets and mafia. The more the laws regolate without forbidding the more pacific and less conflictual the relations.
I find it stupid that alcohol is legal and if far more dangerous that Marijuana. Alcohol causes dependence and alters your judgment in the worst way. Marijuana makes you want to chill and eat. 🤣🤣
Medical cannabis is no longer a taboo subject. Ganja, as Indonesians call, should not be negatively connotated. While numerous countries across the world have legalized marijuana, Indonesian authorities are very narrow-minded. The first step is to conduct the research to find out whether Indonesia should legalize marijuana. However, the government does not allow for conducting the research. What's wrong with the research? ... or those high-ranking authorities in this country have something wrong in their brain, making their head become even narrow-minded.

My roommate was prescribed hydrocodone after her hip replacement surgery. It didn’t help much with the pain and she couldn’t sleep. Since it didn’t help for the pain, she was taking the pills every hour. She didn’t know that hydrocodone was an opioid and addictive. When she ran out, she started to experience withdrawals. Pain, shakes, sweating, vomit, and no appetite. The only thing that helped was when I gave her marijuana. She was relaxed, had an appetite and could finally sleep through her hip pain. Helped with her withdrawals and physical therapy too. Marijuana is far better and healthier than prescription drugs for pain.
@@Alternatives_Universum that really depends on where you live. Are you in the USA and which state? Some states allow a medical marijuana card. You can apply online and have a consultation with a doctor for the card. Just say what problems you are having. Like, insomnia or migraines or arthritis. It’s pretty affordable. They will issue a card or certificate for the legal right to purchase medical marijuana. If you are in a state or country where it’s legal. Like California for example, you only need to be 21 yrs of age and find a local dispensary near you. Research marijuana dispensaries. If it’s illegal in your state, I’m sorry. You’ll have to buy it off the street and I wouldn’t recommend that. It can be dangerous and you never know what chemicals they are lacing the cannabis with.

I think it's not because Indonesian people didn't open minded yet, but mostly they use marijuana for negative thing. Mostly we know that marijuana have benefit for medical side but still a lot of people use it just for having fun/stress reliever. Like, a lot of teenagers use it for having fun with their friend which is so stupid thing to do, they do a lot of bad things under the effect of marijuana. In my opinion that it's okay for medical use as long as the permission is obtained only for doctors and patients who are being treated, even then with strict supervision. Anything apart from medical use must remain illegal.

Why tf is it up to citizens wether Marijuana had medicinal properties or not??!! It should be up to doctors to decide wether it is safe and wether it has medicinal value for the people!
Honestly I see more cons than pros. If it should be legalised, it should only be for medical used in pill or liquid form, not to smoke. And doctors can’t allow patients to take the medication home, they have to consume it in front of a doctor in a hospital.
What's the problem with allowing it? Nobody forces you to smoke it. It doesn't make people violent or crazy like alcohol and other drugs can do. If you don't like it don't smoke. It's ez.

The way we make laws... Sometimes I think we need to reform/evolve this process. - for one, we need to involve more people in the decision process. - we also need to include more experts, from all applicable fields. - finally, we need to include the businesses with financial interests. The 3rd point above is probably the most important because it will make the decision process more transparent. Most times, they are behind many of the laws that are being crafted/passed/imposed on the general public. They also operate in the background, covertly; and it's often a taboo to suggest that they exists. Terms such as "special-interest groups", pharmacy, etc, are sometimes used. :) If you want it to be legalized, be willing to sign away to rights to production&distribution to only the pharma-companies.
10:59 this guy is spitting truth, these things actually happened quite often among the celebrities community (actors, actresses, comedians) when they got caught using drugs, they will be forced to rat out their dealers and celebrity friends, and in exchange, they will get less sanction or even get freed from conviction.
I'm curious if the anti-marijuana groups are similar to the Western ones, ie. Tobacco, pharmaceutical and alcohol companies. I'm going to guess they have a vested interest their. I recall seeing a documentary years back about Indonesia having one of the biggest markets for smoking, I'm thinking Phillip Morris wouldn't want the competition.
I saw a lot of people who hates people's opinions in this video. Bro and Sist please just respect and if you wanna give some your personal opinion make sure that's constructive criticism. Don't hate or like blame unilaterally. You guys don't know about our cultures, society and moral values that you don't live here.
I think this is a universal issue and it all boils down to responsibility and abuse. Much like any medical drugs, particularly prescription pain killers, in order to discourage abuse, it must be made illegal for unauthorized use and distribution. And in order to draw medical and therapeutic benefits from it, it should be made legal to be prescribed by licensed professionals.
I think going from strong punishment to legalisation would be too big a jump for them. They will need to take it step by step, which will include educating the people about weed and reducing the punishment e.g fines instead of jail time. Then after that it will be easier to talk about legalisation
Everytime we glamorize stupid things (like this drug) we implicitly drive impressionable people to seek it out. This is group/herd mentalilty at work. If it is legal, it is precious, it is scarce, it becomes special, and "cool" to obtain and consume. AKA: profitable. To me: - either make it illegal, along with all other poisons (e.g. cigarettes). - or make it legal, like all other similar toxins. No half way.
@@commenterperson4481 It's decriminalized in the Netherlands along with some psychedelic drugs and it's great, it gets taxed and ensures that consumers get explanation of what it does etc and the most important is that the quality is guaranteed. Other drugs are still illegal. The danger of drugs is that you don't know who makes it or what's in it (bad quality) because people have to buy from dealers everywhere else.
The benefits of weed have become overstated, but so have otc vitamins. I say just legalize it. I have no interest in using it again, but as a last resort it is the safest most powerful option.
Meh, nothing new here. Look at Thailand, they used to lock people up their whole lives and then they start to use it medically and after that in recent times they allow people to grow hemp (not cannibis) and then much more recent they allow thc levels ( so real cannibis and not hemp)
Indonesian here, tbh we don’t care if it “tastes good” or “non-lethal”. We only care about the effects on our future generations and how it’ll affect our culture. Stop talking as if we’re “oppressed”, no we’re not, we have good reasons to forbid these things.
Good reasons to ban it such as giving power to the black market/organized crime, getting in the way of medical research, pushing people to resort to buying from sketchy dealers who will lace it with dangerous substances. If you want your country to be safer then you have to legalize and regulate it. If it's illegal then organized crime will sell it and you can already see the effects on your society.

Tbh, I don't think things should be banned (or censored) just for being socially taboo.
Or for being harmful only to the individual doing it.
Well cannabis isnt generally harmful at all to the individual using it either
Censoring stuff just increase curiousity and led them to find information by themselves, lucky if the info isn't wrong and the person smart enough to cherry pick the informations.

1. Lu gak akan mati OD kalo cuma nge ganja. Katanya rokok punya 1.000.000 jenis racun lu isep tiap hari, OD? Racun loh. Ini cannabis herbal / herbs buat pengobatan bukan racun. Jadi rokok boleh sedangkan ganja ngga? Sebelum komen tentang ganja ada baik nya cari info nya dulu, jangan bikin malu.
2. Alkohol, sering banget kan lu pada denger berita orang mabok kasar rese banyak tingkah, perkosa, etc. masi di jual umum? Masih dong di sebagian kota besar indonesia malah terang2an. Ganja? Bikin lu ketawa terus, mikir mau makan terus. Boro2 mikirin ribut.
3. Internet udah murah, cari edukasi dari internet, gak semua yg lu baca harus lu telen mentah2, cari opini, review, dan validitas review tsb.
4. Jangan salahin marijuana, gw tau yg gak setuju sama ganja legal itu sebagian besar karna agama.
Coba cek komen atas2, di ketawain tuh ama bule ngomong ganja bisa bikin OD. kena doktrin tetangga yg agak bego . Jadi nya??? Ya sama2 bego. Upss mabok agama juga bikin bego. Mabok ganja bikin???? Ketawaaaaaaaaaa

if you guys make this kind of topics in indonesia, y'all should call one of the guys from Lingkar Ganja Nusantara, they were spreading all the knowledge about ganja and how the progress of it's legalization in in indonesia
Agree
We aren't ready for legalization even for medical purposses bcs:
1. lot of underage smokers (a lot)
2. its forbidden to get "high" in major religion (islam) and the extremist will... ykwim
3. tobacco company will do anything to stop legalization
but still i hope in the future they will legalize it :)
Yep, that what the gov think probably
Spot on
points 1 and 3 go hand in hand.
True.

Weed shouldn’t be illegal.
It’s much better than cigarettes or alcohol.
We didnt even drink alcoholics bcs of our faith here so cigarettes in indonesia is one of the biggest industry bcs its the only available stress reliever
Cigarettes are not a stress reliver, its your brain tricking you into stress .
Cigarettes and alcohol are just as bad for your liver or lungs, so I don't understand the people saying that weed is worse when they're pretty much on the same scale.

As an Indonesian that lives in The Netherlands, I've tried different kinds of soft drugs, and in the end, it is the way how you use it and the way your body reacts to it. There are several cases that people died from soft drugs, but mostly it is from an overdose or a combination of other sources like alcohol or hard drugs (Like crack or heroin).

Where can one get marijuana from?
The level of ignorance and indoctrination about this subject is truly so sad to see.

It does , at least the CBD part . . . THC is the high / numbs part .
10:18 SO TRUE AF

If you want it to be legalized, be willing to sign away to rights to production&distribution to only the pharma-companies.

@@zackyofficial7494 lu omong apa ?
Ga nyambung.
To me:
- either make it illegal, along with all other poisons (e.g. cigarettes).
- or make it legal, like all other similar toxins.
No half way.
