Hello again, our team has confirmed that any of the LOCTITE® instant adhesives are very good in bonding metal to metal. However, they can be brittle if subjected to impact or shock. If it will experience shock or impact, a rubber-toughened instant adhesive like LOCTITE® 380™ Black Max® or LOCTITE® 411™ Prism® would be the ideal instant adhesive choice. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call 1-800-LOCTITE. Have a great day and I hope we could help.
Hi, thanks for your question. 380 and 411 are both toughened cyanoacrylates. They’re similar in strength, so one isn’t decidedly stronger than the other. However, 380 is black in color, is thinner/lower viscosity and bridges gaps up to 0.006”. 411 is clear and bridges larger gaps up to 0.008”. They’re used for the same substrates and are both commonly used where you have dynamic conditions like impact or vibration. They are less brittle cyanoacrylates versus most traditional products in this family. Hope that helps! - Brandon

Loctite North America Hi, I m a smartphone and computer repair technician . Sometimes I need to repair super small damaged objects ,like for example a broken in half smartphone volume rocker or other small things you can't buy as spare parts. How can I know which is the loctite that suits my needs? I need a super small nozzle , very liquid, the faster drying time , and the stronger resistance that exists ( rigid not flexible) . I'm Italian, do you have a number to call?
