Jo, you were right to let the other 🏊♂️ to be considerate to other swimmers. She could not be using boards when others are in the water. She could go in the afternoon when it’s quieter .
I don’t often comment although I just love your channel. I checked out your Hobbs video and it was fabulous just like you! I am an American but lived on Hallam Street in the late 70s with my husband and 2 small children. Marylebone was my high street. I lost my husband of 45 years, 2 years ago so I get a lovely nostalgic thrill when you film on the high street. Absolutely the best area of London.
No you are not out of order. I have children and I would say the same to the woman who was splashing around. After all you have to take others around you into consideration.
Jo - she should be able to kick with her legs and feet under water - there isn’t any need to cause a wake and splash when kicking - our swim coach in high school (long time ago) used to get on us if we did splash when doing our kick board laps.
My hairdresser is so busy that I book all my appointment ahead for up to 6 months and I live in inner city of Sydney. I wouldn’t be able to just rock on up unfortunately. I do agree with you about the lady in the pool she needs to consider others at that time of day. Love your vlog and love your hair and outfit! X
Great episode! And no, you are not out of order. It is possible that she can use a kick board with her feet underwater without making a tidal wave that others get swept away in. Perhaps she just needed a reminder that she is sharing the pool. 😊

I'm a country girl, through and through and I LOVE living in the city! It's the energy and when the lights are gleaming and everyone is happy and walking around, I love it. I like convenience too much! I do rent a place in the country just to relax and spend time writing but I could not live there, for now.

I've used the superluminous under eye concealer for a few years. It seems like a tiny pot but it lasts so long. You need just a tiny amount. Another great product is Gerome Alexander magic minerals pressed powder, it is very light but covers a lot of blemishes without needing to wear foundation and its very affordable.

Hi joe I swim daily & there is someone in my pool that does butterfly stroke and causes a problem for everyone else as she will only swim in the middle of the pool . She is oblivious to the issue she is causing to everyone else & wont move to the side of the pool so I get it. Now everyone else avoids her! Great video.xx

You make me laugh Jo! You do live a privileged life! I wouldn't trade my beautiful rural life for London, so there you are! You weren't out of order with the other swimmer, in fact in most public pools, flutter boards are restricted to a certain lane or time. I'd clarify with the staff .
I would just swim around her (allowing her to enjoy the splash and disruption of my kicking as I pass) or use a different lane. You could always ask the pool if they could restrict early morning sessions to people who are actually swimming. That would give you a steer as to whether you’re being reasonable.

As well as fingers were there before sponges, sponges adsorb a lot of the makeup, I can't help wondering if sponges are a cunning plan to get you through your makeup faster so that they have a greater turnover.
There’s a guy that comes to the pool where I live and does his laps. I do some exercising for my back because I just had surgery and I’m there every day. I try to go when he’s not there because I can’t exercise when he’s doing his laps. I don’t blame you,you are right….😊🇺🇸
