Loved this place and eventually stayed here for two full weeks. Loved the vibe. It was such a relaxed place where you could go out and also have relaxed days!

I love Cairns I cannot wait to get back up there my dream is to go up the Cape York and in 2024 that is where I'm going to it is a wonderful place and would recommend everyone go up there and see it and I cannot wait to get back there when all this business is over now and we all can travel back up there again that will be a wonderful time👍👍🏻🐠🦋

Nomadicdesi Adventures neither 😋 to be serious though the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast has better weather and better beaches. The Gold Coast where the beach meets the city or Sunshine Coast which isnt so tropical and our huge beaches.
Mathemagician 4 I lived there have been on the sky rail many times and it's not 90 mins lol. There's break platforms in between where you can get off and walk in the rainforest. I guess the whole circuit there and back could be 90 mins added up??
Cairns is great for tourism, lots of natural beautiful places, but I lived there for 12 years and let me tell you as a local it's a shit hole :') Living everyday life there, the city is crap and some of the people there are absolute bogans. It's great for a visit but no longer than that.
Don't fall for the hype! The beaches in Cairns SUCK. If you dont have a car, the other places are unaccessible... The GBR is the best thing but is hell of expensive. Dont fall for it like I did.....Wish I had gone to stay in a pretty beach town...not a mud flat.
