  • Impressive bike rack that is e-bike sturdy
    You might not have to break the bank for a great bike rack
    Vibrelli reached out to me to review their V70 E-Bike. It's quite the impressive rack and totally worth looking into. This ebike bike rack sturdy rack is much better then I expected!

      After much research and inability for my local shop to have inventory of new racks, I looked at this rack and it appears to have a lot of the features I like such as a 2 inch receiver mount, many locking features and overall it appears to be well built. I do have one on order for my new Electra bike and should be here early next week. I'd like to hear from you and do you STILL like the rack? I've asked many riders I see with racks and each one has their pro and con features to them. But for a 2 inch receiver - many locks - and good looks, I am gonna give it a try...

      @@MICHIGANMIKE12 I've got nothing but good things to say. I actually gave this rack to a good friend that needed one. This rack was given to me for review and I already had one. I'm all about helping my friends when I can 👍 Honestly, it's a good rack and my buddy uses the heck out of it!

      Just take good care of this rack. It is steel and when scratched it will rust. This is the same with any steel based rack so don't blame that rack. To keep costs down steel is used rather then aluminum but you have to take greater care of the rack. It works great and it will serve you well!

    You can put the inner bike on much easier by flopping the virtical bar out of the way before loading...

    Thanks for the video. The price, of course, has gone up but I was able to get one from Amazon Warehouse for $367. I originally was going to get a Rockymounts Monorail 2, but it would have meant removing my front fender from my ebike. I like the fact that this clamps down on the crossbar, instead. And it looks VERY secure.

    The center bar moves down to put first bike on. Just pull the pin and lay it down. Then you stand it back up.

    • @rgmtb
      @rgmtb  7 месяцев назад

      It actually does not move down, only left and right so getting it around the pedals and handle bars is a bit of a pain. You could totally just tilt the entire rack down and put the inner bike in first. Something to give a try.

  • @dansigmon1559
    @dansigmon1559 11 месяцев назад

    Tilt the bike rack away from the vehicle before putting the bikes on, then tilt it back into the towing position. This should make it easier to load the bikes.

    Just curious if you think the bikes go back far enough to be able to
    open a trucks tail gate all the way or no?

    • @rgmtb

      Not with this rack. You would need to drop the rack (at least you can which is cool) in order to open the trunk.

      got a V 70 rack coming my way and thanks for that tip. I'll be sure to give it a whirl when it arrives as well... For the most part, I ride with 2 bikes and sometimes by myself just to "clear my head"... happy riding and be safe.

      @@rgmtb I am wondering if this idea would work too. I just bought this bike rack and need to assemble. My E bike is 73 pounds. It is a little awkward to lift (67" medium build female). Oh, and old too. Lol. Thank you for your great posts.

    Doesn't the upright post fold down so that putting a bike on the inside is no harder than putting it on the outside? Also, are the wheel cups steel or plastic?
