Thanks for the video. The 1989 c2500 grill is slightly different. Behind the turn signals is another bolt, then the grill lifts out. No plastic connectors between the grill and rubber. At least on mine, it came off in a single piece. Thanks!
Love your video. The grill on my 95 K2500 is broken in just about all places and the truck has never been in an accident. 154K miles on the 454. Oh, love the sound effects too. Thank you and God Bless.
Cool video, even the truck is the same color as mines. I have a 97' Silverado K1500, people ask me if I'm selling it. I just tell them I'm not, it's a keeper. This video was meant to be, new subscriber here👍🇺🇸..
You should be able to see the latch through the grill, and you might be able to open it with a screwdriver. It’s probably a problem with the cable that activates the latch. You may need to replace it.
I’ve been wondering this for a while but there’s not videos covering it, I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado and could you swap out the grill on it for a grill for a newer Chevy something like a cateye grill ?
You would probably have to do a bunch of modification to get it to work. It’s a different shape and has different mounting locations. I know that there are aftermarket companies who make custom grills for these old trucks, so you might find one that you like that just snaps right on.
The boing sound effects gets me every time 😂😂😂

Where can I find the bolt replacements ? I lost mind taking off my broke grille
They might have them in the help section at an auto parts store. If you have one, you could bring it in to match it.
what should i do if one of the plastic clips breaks, one side of my girl is kinda hanging off and dosnt look good.
I bet somebody makes them. You might check the help section at the auto parts store, or look around on eBay.
Does anybody know the parts number for the bow tie for a 89 C1500 Silverado? Thanks! Or maybe something a little cooler emblem that fits? Thank you!
Recently my hood latch won’t open and i was curious if you know what to do

This also works for ‘99 Chevy obs
It should.

Thats easier than on my car
They made it pretty easy to do. On some cars it’s difficult.
hoohoohoblin first i gotta take the headlights our, then the plastic inside the fenders......
Thanks for sharing this video, really good explanation of how to remove this grill it really help me!!!
Perfect. Love the "easy as pie" sound effects too.
You don’t have to do the bottom bolts. The clips are all that hold it at the bottom
