I never read this storyline, but just from this video it reminds me a bit of the first "Armor Wars" where Stark went on a quest to reclaim all his stolen tech, even crossing a few lines along the way. Stark's quest seems less selfish though with the basic difference being the justifications: Stark taking reponsibility for all the damage his tech might do in the wrong hands v. Superman feeling justified defending himself because of all the good he does and will do.
That was a different order of stupid, though, since, even though I don't remember it being overtly said, when he effectively erased / remotely destructed applications that used his tech, he hit a lot of friendly/innocent users. @@nctpti2073 IIRC, Stark's reason for feeling justified in destroying all copies of his armor technology was that all of it was copied from data stolen from him, and he hadn't patented it specifically because he didn't want just anyone to be able to build things based on it (I liked the allusion to that in the first Iron Man film: "our proprietary repulsor technology").

These two are truly the World's Finest. Opposites yet the same, in a way looking for the end results, Justice! Love the Batman voice. Adding different voices to each character as you post these videos make the video unique and enjoyable. You must be amazing when you read bedtime stories to your kids.
To defend your Batman-voice: I realy love it.😉 And you are right - Wallers Anti-Superman-Squad is compeltly believable (and i. m. o. justified). better save than sorrow... And all in all this story (and especially your comments and voicing) was pure gold.🤣
I think Batman's skepticism of magic isn't 100% arbitrary when you consider that most of DC's magic users, as opposed to the more Honors Student crowd at Marvel, tend to be misfits and outsiders, sometimes even bordering on criminals. Even Zatanna's "Everyone thinks I'm a stage magician but I actually do magic for real" has layers of deception to it. After working with John Constantine, master tricker and living shitpost of a human being, I might come out believing magic was a thing less than when I started.
On the other hand, Batman's "I don't believe in ghosts" philosophy that he had at one point was very strange considering that he's teamed up with Deadman a bunch of times, not to mention meeting the Spectre a few times. It's still weird that Batman thinks Billy Batson says the word "Shazam" to turn into Captain Marvel via science. Or that Wonder Woman got her powers from the gods scientifically.
So it pretty clear with the Lana twist that this storyline was going hard on Smallville. We all can imagine Smallville Lana doing this same thing with the same minor coercion.
There is a 70s story where Superman either isn't affected by Kryptonite or somehow it all goes inert, but the event that made it happen also created a sand clone of Superman. I don't know what happened next because it wasn't in the big "Superman From The 30s To The 70s" book I used to borrow from the library but it might be worth a look.
It was a fun story and definitely one of those I don't entirely agree with the way Aquaman and Lana were acting but they made for interesting conversations. Your Batman voice is hilarious never stop doing it!
Superman often goes on missions to other planets, dimensions, and eras in time. Can he ever really be safe from Kryptonite, even if he successfully removes it all from this present earth? I hope they didn't overlook Jimmy's pad. He's always got some K squirreled away, lol!
I love the Batman voice! I found your cannel 2-3 months ago and I think I have seen almost all your videos. The Batman voice drew me in, Lois and Jimmy made me stay. 😂
I'm super curious how they explained this much kryptonite being on Earth (and so many different kinds). I thought Krypton was fairly far away from Earth and Clark's pod had to be programmed to go there. I'd have expected kryptonite to be more scattered across the galaxy.
They started going with the Smallville/Superman TAS explanation at some point (that being that a bunch of it was dragged here in the wake of Superman's ship's spacewarp wake; an extrapolation of a piece being embedded in it as seen in the original Man of Steel mini). I first remember seeing that explanation used in the comics in Kelley's Action Comics run: the origin of Russian Zod involved a kryptonite meteor shower "pulled" here by Kal-El's ship destroying a Russian space station.
I watch all your vids, but I enjoy the DC focused ones the most! Your Batman and Superman voices are comedy GOLD!😂❤ Honestly my favorite thing second to the ceazy writer, and editor quotes!

A lot of Dc's from this time that you review are things I read when they came out, but have since forgotten. But this one stayed with me. i remember the series had been very hit and miss to me to this point. More miss than hit. But this one I liked. I can only recall liking it and the Aquaman issue, but even so. I thought Aquaman in this was Artie Jr, as the internet called him? The legacy version introduced in the Kurt Busiek run. This because that was coming out at the same time, and because here he has Loreena and King Shark with him. Supporting characters from that run. I remember I thought this issue showed he could really work as a character if written right. But that was not to be of course. Suppose Lance's mother had been to free baseball glove day at the stadium, and used that on her kids. Would Lance have ended up being Glove Man? Amanda not seemingly knowing Bruce is Batman reminds me of All Star Batman [the Snyder version] where Alfred says 'working out he is Batman is not hard. But Master Bruce has made it that proving such is impossible.'

The fact Kryptonite just sort of shows up on demand has always been silly. So to that extent, the silly aspects of this just sort of fit right in, lol.
I love whenever media be it comics or TV spoofs on other medium. Ones like this, Planet of the Apes musical in Simpsons, and Tights in Animal Man
That opening is actually perfect
Ultraman found it during the “Forever Evil” story
“Straight to the moon, Alice!”
These two are truly the World's Finest. Opposites yet the same, in a way looking for the end results, Justice! Love the Batman voice. Adding different voices to each character as you post these videos make the video unique and enjoyable. You must be amazing when you read bedtime stories to your kids.
"Imagine a walking talking nuclear weapon"
Captain Atom? ... Firestorm?
Superman had a hell of 420
Can I just say, it is shocking that it’s be more practical for a movie studio to get Kryptonite than to pay someone to make a Kryptonite prop.
To defend your Batman-voice: I realy love it.😉 And you are right - Wallers Anti-Superman-Squad is compeltly believable (and i. m. o. justified). better save than sorrow...
And all in all this story (and especially your comments and voicing) was pure gold.🤣
I didnt know people believed superman had a secret identity. I thought some just saw him as superman 24/7
YAY! The Batman Voice!
I always thoroughly enjoy the Batman Voice! Sasha you are the voice talent of our generation.
What about Doctor Fate?
I'm pretty sure he might has another reason to distrust Zatanna.
**cough** --mind wipe-- **cough** .
@@CTheng Batman doesn't trust anyone, besides, Zatanna had good reason, Batman tends to defend criminals sometimes
Doctor Fate *sometimes* has wise and spiritual thing going on, but sometimes he's basically Moon Knight.
Batman voice is indeed silly and fun. And I’m here for it.
I love the Batman voice. No matter how stupid it gets it always makes me laugh.
One thing I found interesting about energy Superman era was he wasn’t weak to kryptonite
Great episode! Silly but witty. I like this gum-chewin', shootin' from the hip type of flow. Very fun to watch
Your take on Batman rocks.
Warner Brothers should offer you a gig in their animation.
So it pretty clear with the Lana twist that this storyline was going hard on Smallville. We all can imagine Smallville Lana doing this same thing with the same minor coercion.
This was good fun all around!
And really liked the short red do on you.. and the glasses and green eyeshadow.
21:01 I LOVE your Batman voice is HILARIOUS
20:59 your Joker voice is the best tho? Real chills. Nicholson, Hamill and Ledger would approve.
This was one of the best "reads" ever. Also "Science, science, scence. Or, Magic , magic, magic!" LOLOLOLOL!!
It was a fun story and definitely one of those I don't entirely agree with the way Aquaman and Lana were acting but they made for interesting conversations. Your Batman voice is hilarious never stop doing it!
You very much bring the Brit Batman, to my mind, with your Bat-voice.
Anyone else notice the 'magic' kryptonite kind of mirrored Eclipso's chest symbol?
NOOOOO Sasha!!! I think you’re perfect with almost all of your superhero impressions, and your batman is perfect :)
Because Krypton was in the other side of the sun. Krypton was the twin planet of the earth.
@@dupersuper1938
I totally forgot about Russian Zod. Was he created before or after Red Son?
@@Crabomax no…??
@@Crabomax wait what?
I watch all your vids, but I enjoy the DC focused ones the most! Your Batman and Superman voices are comedy GOLD!😂❤ Honestly my favorite thing second to the ceazy writer, and editor quotes!
Good evening Sasha just wanted to say thank you for your work it really calms my Saturdays and Sundays im always on the road working so it gives me something to look forward to and relax with. Thank you. Until the weekend 👍👋👍
I'm sorry but I have to say, the Zatana voice is amazing, especially when followed up by the absolutely hilarious Batman voice lmao
13:30 "new contigency plan if Clark should ever turn i will make him trip balls"
Sasha’s Batman voice is like rule 43 (the opposite of 34): “if you can imagine it - there is a glorious heart-felt and hilarious imitation of it that you love for all the wholesome reasons”.
Liked this video! Would you consider doing a video(s) on Hawkman and/or Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman? Their character histories are...complicated to say the least, even when creators try to clean up or compress their history lol
I'll admit I haven't read this one but I do appreciate giving Batman more of a personality then just tortured soul just fighting crime or playboy.
“Why’d you decommission the Power Girl robot?”
It got….sticky.
Don't apologize for your Batman voice. Keep it and the narrations up.
I like plaid kryptonite and the way it makes Clark grab an axe and join the nearest logging camp.
I enjoyed this story and you brought it to us in a fun and entertaining manner. You always find the most interesting takes in the story and the motives behind what the characters do. Your production values are top notch and your sense of humor is always engaging and enjoyable to watch.
Yeah, i'm with you Sasha, the "Batman doesn't believe in magic" trope also drives me insane lol
My favorite kryptonite is Periwinkle of course! How else is Clark ever going to cut loose and stop being such a square man?
Omg I could not stop laughing at her performing the different voices especially batman (in a good way).. lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Decommissioned power girl robot "ewwwwwww"
🤣🤣🤣
I read it when it come out . I was always surprise that the All American Boy and Waller's anti superman squad never popped up again in another story
One of my top fav Superman/batman interactions
Your the funniest comics Chanel, love the Batman and Superman voices. Thank you
After so many stories where heroes either go nuts or blatantly break the law in the last decade really justifies Waller's actions here.
Great series. This is some peak Batman and I just love seeing him interact with other leaguers and besties with Superman
Awwwww, well I purposefully look for the batman reviews on this channel just to hear the batman voice you do!! It's so fun!
I've been a fan and viewer for more than a year and I love the Batman voice, I wouldn't want you to read his lines any other way. Also loved your British accent for actor Batman lmao 😂
I watch your channel because of your batman voice. Never change.
I LOVE your Batman voice! I love all your voices! ''Excelsior!'' Oh, uh, the DC version... ''Superior!''
I want a story where and Injustice-like situation is entirely avoided because Batman hits Superman with a magic amulet so he gets too high to turn evil and conquer the world
Superman-Batman also had the first Batman-Jim Gordon-Detective Chimp rooftop meet. We need more of those
I've loved the animated adaptation of worlds finest since I first saw it years ago and I've had this book on my mind as something I want to read for almost as long but this video makes this book look like a lot of fun so I just bought the trade. Great video as usual 👌
Princess Bubblegum hangs out at the science bar, and often plays a part in the heckling.
Well my Sunday just got a hell of a lot better, my joint and I thank you for another great Superman video!
Your voice over is Hilarious😂I love your channel super high is a good look lets you know he is still somewhat human.
you got that whole Freddy Krueger look going on. I LOVE it!!!🤩🤩🤩
