It is so wild in my opinion, whenever the OG games pull for their plots. The most obscure and unknown material Banpresto had a hand in. In this case, while I am sure a few people already knew about The Great Battle. I am sure even a lot of japanese fans dont have a damn clue of what the hell even was Grandread! (For context, a Sega Saturn game where I believe Fighter Roar appears. Outside of that, barely any documentation on it.)
XN-Ls name is a play on Gilliams own XN-Geist from the old game, but XN-L itself is a Kadum Chakram like the one they fought in Coffin of the End; XN-L hijacked the Grandeed Fenossa to lay waste to the whole universe @@GenesicKaiser
I feel Alpha 3 ze balmary apocalypsis arc are still on the horizon. and we have evil King J Der SRW OG version on the making here with Grandred Fenosa.
Interesting you mention that, with how the OG crew were speculating during the fight with the grandread comparing its rhetoric with past foes like the Einst and though they dismiss it a connection seems to exist To that same degree Hakaioh GaoGaiGar vs Betterman does the same where the enemy Oath Over Omega seems to have influenced GGG’s past foes compelling them to erase intelligent life through any means
Kidna late to the reference, but Banpresto was also involved in Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2, which has a giant mecha named Gunvald that you get to use once.

ラストファイターツイン遊んでました。
タイトル画面と1面をミックスしたアレンジがとてもカッコいい!

That tiny part makes this track for me
God this is an amazing last boss theme. Like the most heroic last boss theme, and then the 'horror guitars' kick in.
well! if you know where the Ships comes from you get an idea of why this theme sounds like this and also what a Kadum Hakam is
Is the ship the XN-Geist? If I recall reading up on Gilliam's history, he left the Geist behind when he jumped to the other timelines.
Nah, it's from Grandread.

that's why I felt that bgm so familiar....

also ... BY this point we should state one only thing: EVERY SINGLE GAME who Brampresto did is somehow canon to OG verse
Queen's Gate: Spiral Chaos is canon to SRW OG
@@1wayroad935 you jest, but
@@1wayroad935 Ar Tonelico as well, since the series was published by Banpresto in Japan.

Crossgate Paradigm System Baby
holly shit, this boss theme is fucking good,my another favorite boss theme
All those disliking this video, do you not know you are feeding your enemy?
Those dislikes are Skull Knight, Crystal Dragoon and Yabba Dabba Dooh.
Oh i wish we get to fight armada of Grandread Fenerossa in OG3 just to hear this epic theme again
Pollich Trail
I didn't start loosing units till I fought him and zui gadin.....
oh its SRW haha of course it will happen
Ok, but WHY did this game remix a vastly older games music for its final boss theme? Same composer?
Same characters?
XN-L is the reincarnation of Zanel from The Great Battle 2 Last Fighter Twin. Zanel had been a final boss of the said game, so is XN-L on recent one.
Because OGMD is using said game's characters
So, which do you like better? Last Fighter Twin, Pantheon of Soulless Machines, or ULTRA ONE?
ALL three are EPIC
Despair lol
