Great to see what a modded Sur Ron can do! I was able to get over most of these but not the big options with my stock ‘22 Sur Ron and I’m 185lbs. It was a real struggle though and the bike took some harder landings. Had to tighten the headset after and check spokes!

Moto Matt, just found you on here, convinced me to subscribe. Are you rocking the stock suspension on your Sur Ron? I just picked a Ron up and I’m trying to figure out some proper suspension, what are people doing with these for forks!? Thanks 🏁✊🏼

Thanks! Yah I’m running stock KKE front and rear. The forks don’t take oil but grease. The setup is to add a small amount of oil to the forks to keep the valving working properly. And a heavier 550lb spring for the rear. In the description I have a Amazon store link that has the spring.

It’s a TC65 Front Plastic kit, had to drill and tap some mounting holes but it went on pretty easily.

Yah, Got the KKEs to work good with a mod recently but they still sit low.

@@motomatt224Do you mind share what mod you did with the kke? My friend got the kke and it is sticky and unpredictable. I got the fastace and it is better, but still not really smooth.. Thanks.

@@Sir-Ron Yeah, I'd like to know what mod he did too. Charged Cycle Works does like a $300 send-in-your-forks mod which includes tuning the shim stack and SKF fork seals. I kinda wanna try just doing the SKF fork seals on my own and seeing how that goes. The stiction is crazy on the stock KKEs.
