I bought Alan's woodburner when he changed to gas, what a game it was getting it out of his broads cruiser and onto my dinghy. He had an Alsation that would swim ashore for a shit, Max I think. Great bloke, Weir Quay not the same without him.
I watched this video after a friend posted it on Facebook. I never met Allan but he comes across as a gentleman who preferred the simple things in life. So many of us should be so lucky to find what Alan seems to of found. My thoughts go out to his family and all those who knew him!
