The Bible says if the holy spirit convicts YOU specifically about something and you do not listen, then you are disobeying God. God could tell me not to wear a cross, but tell you to because maybe I PERSONALLY am idolizing it. Doesn’t mean no one can wear a cross! As long as you aren’t sitting there depending on your cross before depending on God, worshipping your cross and bowing down to your cross necklace than there’s no issue. Rosaries are meant for prayer but even then, if the rosary if the only thing you use as prayer life and use it as a form of ONLY prayer before praying to God, then you are idolizing your rosary. Simple. I wear my cross as a conversation starter. Maybe someone wants to talk about God and they see I have a cross on, they might ask about it and we get into convo. If I forget my cross, I forget my cross. If it disappears, it disappears. I don’t idolize it. Please please it’s so dangerous to make your convictions other peoples.
