The best of the Best. I met Rey and Carding in Japan first time when they did their show for the military in Yokosuka, Japan. The show was grand and everyone loved them. We went out after the show and had some Ramen. The Japanese guy selling ramen on his cart asked Carding why his mouth is so big. He answered, this is where I make my money. It was so funny the Japanese guy was laughing at the same time we were having ramen standing on the sidewalk while it was snowing. Can't feel the cold since the ramen was hot and good. Later on I saw them again in Orange County and stood away from the crowd after the show. Carding saw me and went to me and said hi. Asked if I wanted to talk with Rey, I said no, that's okay. He had all the fans around him. That was the last time I saw them together back in 98. I miss you guys.. Love the memories Rey and Carding..

They were the unbeatable duo and the legend of their time from late 1950's until their waning years. They were then, the Filipino version of the popular duo -Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.. They really brought happiness to many Filipinos-thru their shows at the Clover theater and Opera House; town fiestas ; Japan and Las Vegas!
I used to save my allowance in Grade scholl just to be able to watch them peform live in Clover and Manila Grand Opera House Theaters which were already demolished to give way to new structures..I posted it on several websites e.g. Facebook etc. and people are amuzed!

Rosario Lejarzo no, Rey died on 98 I think and Card on 2004 due to Cardiac Arrest. They are my Dad’s favorite and friend. They’re two of the best :)
