So much prattling about…nothing. Your early “top tips” and “secrets” content about various Porsches were super helpful. Lately it’s just drama and clickbait…and inconsistent name changes. As I say to military and police when I come in contact with them, “Thanks for your service…” Good Luck with whatever is next.
All the mid size SUV's have límited space in the back seat, any average person will be unconfortable even for a short ride therefore they're not even considered family cars! The Macan might fit in a big sports car category
Video title should have been 'Why I'm a Dummy & I'm selling my Macan after 6 Months". It's called 'do your homework'. So you will sell it to who? Another uneducated buyer
Hi Satch it sounds like your car has the dreaded Transfer Box Issue, read this PCGB forum member’s description: I noticed a slight but discernable vibration through the steering wheel when setting off, particularly under extra load such as pulling away up hill. It felt like the car was going over small speed bumps. Initially as the tyre were well worn, I though this may be the problem, but after replacing the tyres the fault was still there. OPC immediately diagnosed fault with Transfer Box and ordered a new one from Germany, and fitted week later. On viewing other Macan forums it appears this is not an uncommon problem, and the OPC service manager confirmed there has been 'a few', but I think was reluctant to admit how many. Be interesting to know if other PCGB Macan owners had had same problem. I recommend all Macan owners be vigilant to the symptoms whilst still under warranty.
Your cayenne wasnt PDK it was tiptronic, that jerking issue isnt to do with the gearbox, its the transfer box, its an indication its failing, its a very well known issue with Macans and Cayennes
I always liked your videos and Porsche content. If you like to branch out your channel to other cars beyond Porsche, I think it will be good. I do think that many Porsche owners like me, went to your channel as it has a clear focal point (Porsche) which is a good foundation for making specific content that is really meaningful and can provide insider knowledge or awareness. This is at risk, when the base goes broader.
I have a new Macan S on order. I hope the rattles aren't a common occurrence on Macans, as my current BMW X3 M40i is completely rattle free, and build quality is superb. I'd hate to jump to Porsche only to get inferior build quality.
I feel my Macan very lane sensitive, Im having a hard time keep it in the lanes. Is that something any else of you recongnize?? . My Macan ride on air suspension..
My Porsche Macan S is my daily driver and I love it and I will always have a Porsche of some kind. Mine is a 2017 I dont have anything rattling or shaking I have 22K miles and I have had no issues. Your clickbaity video title makes it seems like this is a trash vehicle and it is not. Mine is fun fast and all I need in an SUV but in fairness to you I have no kids no dog I bought it because I wanted to make my Audi more of a Project weekend car
You may have answered a problem for me. Was thinking of buying a Macan but was concerned about the getting in and out issue, not for me but my wife who does have mobility issues, and looking at your video and you stepping over that side bolster definitely would be a problem. So it looks as if a re-think is in order.
Ha! I happen to love Porsche. But at the same time dislike SUV's. Very few people need one. I drove a Macan when my Spyder needed servicing and it drives fine but it's no sports-car... My wife drives a 320e touring. Which is a brilliant daily car that oozes style while beating the taxman at the same time. Personally, I would fancy a Porsche shooting brake EV to complement my Spyder but that will not happen.
Totally understandable. Every car is made with specific capability an market in mind. Ive had 3 SUVs myself and 2 caymans but as much as i need suv for winter weather it def is NOT for me. I prefer sedans n sports car myself. So for now im in a w221 s450 and this car will almost do all that i need as a DD car but i think wagon is the way to go along with my next cayman purchase. I will keep it and see how it does with the airmatic suspension another raised 2” in winter n go from there.
I like you and your videos. Allways a joy see the latest upload with a cup of coffe and hear you talk Porsche. Relaxing moment for sure. Keep it coming 🫶🏻
Keep going Al. Really enjoy your content. If you're thinking of diversifying, consider doing some more technical videos/ teaming up with a local specialist like D&G. You could also buy an interesting project/classic car like an Z4 coupe, Impreza or classic Mini - would love to follow your progress with something like that 👍🏻
I feel so bad that the seat rubs his leg when he gets out of it 😂
I hate this car because my dog hesitate to jump in. LOL

Agree. Narcissistic personality disorder comes to mind!
So everything you said about the car is that is is not for you. I think you could have figured that all out ahead of time. God Bless.
Narcissistic personality disorder IMO
This ‘channel’ has had other names in the past. 🤔

What the hell is this guy talking about…………
100% Agree Colin.. although in saying that, the comment section under your >> "Red Arrows over Belfast"

My Macan has no rattles or squeaks but I agree the standard sound system is a bit below par. Love the car though 😍

Some of us value reliability over performance. Would that macan last 100,000 miles trouble free?
Yeah same question
if you just do maintenance regularly and not push it everyday it should be fine
Your cayenne wasnt PDK it was tiptronic, that jerking issue isnt to do with the gearbox, its the transfer box, its an indication its failing, its a very well known issue with Macans and Cayennes
Transfer case* but yes
Agree with others who mentioned it, sounds like transfer case issue.

How are you lining your Mecan ? How much time it took to deliver? Any particular option you would recommend for Mecan S? Thanks.
why not to buy CPO to avoid all these problems?
I’m waiting for a 992 version 2 just sold my 992 S so got myself a new Audi TT. Great little cheap fun car
I feel my Macan very lane sensitive, Im having a hard time keep it in the lanes. Is that something any else of you recongnize?? . My Macan ride on air suspension..
I much prefer an estate over an suv , bmw 340i tourer
Perfect family wagon
Sell your dog keep the macan, i think your dog is broken.

just opt for non sports seats (4 way or 14 way - no 18 way) - much less bolster
@@housydoing spot on!

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the 987 vs 981 in terms of driving feel, excitement, fun, size etc.
Why is the roof not glass?
Sun roof is not standard
Exelente bro el perro merece lo mejor es un hijo mas
You need a Toyota, or maybe a Mitsubishi, sounds like you want to get from A to B and don't care about performance.
For sale Akita. Will keep you warm in winter time.
I have to agree that Porsche for reliability sucks and payment
Best doing all German cars I love Porsche. And own one , but love Mercedes’ amg s 500 so a good idea to have other cars on good luck.
get a ML63 AMG you will never get another engine
If you compare the other brands to Porsche you could still keep Porsche House name eg Audi suv vs Macan
sorry to hear you’re thinking of letting the channel come to an end - i really appreciated your perspectives when buying my own porsche
Because it's a fukin SUV gross

Really!! The consensus of opinion may beg to differ on that one.
You need a Volvo V90
He needs a psychiatrist more like!!
That's a shame was really enjoying the Macan videos ☹️
