Think of all the beautiful 18" aluminum rims that were shit canned for those 16 inchers.
those were only used on the xlch bikes. this one came with the steel rims. the alum ones only look good until they get old. now we have the coatings to keep them like new.

Was every old sportster laced up with a fat weenie 16inch rear wheel? I bet there's good money in correcting the bikes back to 18s.
most people still like the 16" back wheel and not the small ass 18" one. i like the fat 18" ones.
