The kids walking slowly to the candy lady refers to a string of murders in Atlanta of black kids that was never solved back in the 80s. Also Dre 2nd verse was him talking to himself being that he's a Gemini which means he has 2 sides... one of the densest songs they ever made
Yea the main suspect in the killings just recently died. But back then the people outside of atlanta had no idea what he was talking about. But thank you for exploring the classic artist
The twice apon a time verse is the best I've ever marinated on.
Organized Noize(Rico Wade, Sleepy Brown and Ray Murray)...Andre , Big Boi, Gipp and Cee-Lo produced for Dungeon Family(OutKast and Goodie Mob). But OutKast (Dre and Big Boi) produced the majority of that Aquimini Album themselves
Also a reference to Hansel and Gretle
Wayne Williams did most of the killings and is doing like.
Outkast- the art of story telling
Album version....not the single.
Not to forget about Part 2. Its incredible and went over most folk head for sure!
Liberation from this album featuring Cee-Lo and Erica Badu is a classic
YES!
one of my favorite songs ever
Big Boi is a beast with them lyrics. Some people don't get his flow but when they get it it's magical. Very underrated.
Something that's really dope about 3k's last verse on this song is that he starts it with "my mind warps and bends, floats the wind, count to 10" and then rhymes 10 bars straight that all end with a sound that rhymes with 10. I just love that shit idk lol
"It's him and I, aquemini." (Aquarius + Gemini)
Saw OutKast live in New Orleans back in the day🔥🔥checkout Wheelz of Steel and art of storytelling
Goodie Mob - "Cell Therapy" is a track you need to react to.
Yup. He's ready. :)
When 3 stacks says “ you may see some children dead off in the path way” he’s talking about the ATL children murders
I love this reaction and your experience with the pure genius of Big boi & Andre 3000!! Welcome to my city!! By the way the verse about the dead children is referring to the missing & murdered children in Atlanta back in the 1980's.
The first 3 or 4 Kast albums were all produced by Organized Noise. Rico Wade and Sleepy Brown, etc.... they also used a band in the studio. Not just a DJ mixing. They were so unique.
If you’re a hip hop fan this whole album is a must. I’m 46 years old and I have been a OutKast fan since the early 90’s. They are incredible
Andre was referring to the Black kids that were murdered by serial killer Wayne Williams in Atlanta in the 80's on that first verse btw
Especially Andre 3000 can get into your thoughts like nòoe else. No wonder he and Eryka Badu got together for a time. They have a son together and named him Seven.
Return of the G, Synthesizer "Liberation" ,Spottieottie &Da art 1& 2 will always be some of my all time favorite songs
This is 1 of my favorite albums all time i bought it like 4× over the years

I'm a Gemini and my bro Aquarius. We both got this tatted on us. I did his and he did mines. Love my bro , Love this song. 💥💥💥
Its called assonance (seriously) the bending of syllables to fit vowels around a rhyme scheme. Its been used in peotry since Dante's "inferno".
Eminem is a giddamn master, as are Big Boi and Andre.
Outkast is one of the best things to happen to hip hòp.
This song right here! This album in general. The beat was done by Outkast also known as Earthtone III. Sadly people forget about Mr. DJ. Anyways getting back to this song, every time I hear it I get goosebumps. 3 Stacks verse is my favorite verse on any hip-hop song ever, and that is saying a lot. He got Hip-Hop quotable for this verse in the Source. Just a masterpiece of work!
OutKast "Da Art of storytellin part 4" super dope track. You gotta get into more OutKast and Goodie Mob.
u gotta react to more outkast they are legendary.. Outkast- ATLiens
Nas- Ether
Wu tang- Ice cream, proteck ya neck, tearz, method man, wu tang clan ain't nothing to f wit.

Hold on be strong writer and producer by Donny Mathis outkast guitarist AKA uncle Donny AKA Papa doc and Donny Mathis outkast guitarist played acoustic guitar composed and played bluesy guitar on Rosa Parks and played guitar on this CD
Greatest duo in rap history! Check out The Art of Storytellin with Outkast and Slick Rick. One of their best songs IMO.
twice upon because he's a gemini one version of him died and the new him lived happily ever after...this was during Andre's sort of rebirth
This for sure is a next level track. Master song writing and song composition. Outkast one of my all time favs.
Not sure if the production team is the dungeon family. Amazing producers. They did there first 3 or 4 albums. They play the instruments into the sampler and lay it down as chops to give a more rugged Hiphop feel. They are legendary producers for sure.
Organized Noize
You have a good voice young Jack. Should be on a radio station. React to EPMD either So watcha saying or Big Pay Back
Outkast - Chonky Fire
Outkast - Da Art of Storytellin part 2
“We missed a lot of church so the music is our confessional” fuego!!
The last part was a interlude to the next track, it was takin from the movie Frankenstein it goes well into the song its called "Synthesizer" you should check that joint out to
Love that track!
They made the beat themselves. They made most the beats on this album
This song was in the movie O with Mikal Pfeiffer and Julia Stiles
Now you need to listen to the follow- up, called "Synthesizer"
Outkast-Sorry Miss Jackson
Goodie Mob - Black Ice
Organize noise did the production for Outkast
I highly reccomend "The Points" from the "Panther Soundtrack". No one ever reacts to the DJ Uneek version. I've been recommending this song on most your videos. It starts off with Biggie Smalls and has bone thugs towards the end. **I will say, it's probably the hardest rap that bone thugs has ever done.** It's only missing Flesh N Bone.
You can probably react to the video version and follow it up with DJ UNEEKS version. Maybe 2 part one video. Maybe not... DJ UNEEKS version is 9 minutes long. It's well worth it.
DJ UNEEKS VERSION:

Video Version: ruclips.net/video/mqNxoV6v5GQ/видео.html
Brandy- I wanna be down(remix/video).
7:59 HA! GOT EEEM!
Dope song I enjoyed the reaction
My guy.....I am diggin' your reactions....and Outkast is dope BUT I wish you would look deeper into BTNH lyrics like you did here when doing your reactions on them. Ofcourse it'd take a bit longer with all the bars but so many messages, metaphors, and story telling that's real and true....they've changed and helped many lives through their music. All in all, keep it up on all the great music, good work.
Big Boi is 1 of the best at making word Rhyme that shouldn't Rhyme
Andre and big boi produced and wrote alot of there stuff and Andre himself can play several instruments himself
They did most of there own beats.
Incase no one told you, they produced this themselves!
Now This is a classic
Subbed brah. I like you're getting into this early outkast. P
i understand if Big Boi is still upset with 3stacks, they could've been acknowledged as the greatest of all time
This album is a top 5!
Do Art of Storytelling Part 4! Andre 3000 plus that beat is FIRE
Thug Devotion- Mo Thug Family Scriptures
Dogg pound- what i feel, new york new york, respect, reality, puffin on blunts, let's play house,

Finally
"Red Velvet"... "Mainstream"
OutKast ft goodie mobb Git up git out
I think 3000 was talking about drugs and how back then that was all young folk did...chase highs. He was talking about dreads and how wearing them is actually about Rastafarian religion, but they became just a trend. Everyone with dreads isn’t representing “Jah,” God. Good ear jack
Do Pastor Troy- vice versa
React to biggie smalls ft Eminem dead wrong
That’s not game - We KNOW what birthdays the signs correspond with.
You gotta listen to the next track! Synthesizer
People that don't really study astrology
