It was sinners indwelt with the Holy Spirit that wrote scripture(2 Timothy 3:16). It's the only explanation for the all the prophecies made in the old testament that came true hundreds of years later in the new testament.
The Bible contains a number of prophecies that never came true, although it is usually possible to reinterpret them to refer to other events. Here are failed prophecies from the Old Testament and a failed prophecy from the New Testament: Ezekiel prophesied two separate outcomes for Egypt, total desolation or occupation by Babylon, but neither actually occurred: Ezekiel 29:12: And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. Ezekiel 29:19: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. Mark chapter 13 has Jesus prophesy his return on clouds of glory within the lifetimes of some to whom he spoke: Mark 13:26,30: And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory…Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

It takes the whole story to understand not a "gotcha" moment from a piece of the story. It started with one sin that lead to another etc...From II Samuel 11 He'd committed the sin if lusting after another mans wife first. Then he acted on that sin and committed adultery with Bathsheba. Then he tried to cover those sins by commanding Uriah to go home to be with Bathsheeba becauswe she had become pregnant. When Uriah refused to stay on the battefront with his men THEN David committed the last in THIS particular line of sin by having him killed in battle. The result was the birth of Solomon who eventually became the next King of Israel and was dubbed the wisest man that ever lived. I Kings 4:29-34 But even he had his own sin that lead him astray. Eventually Jesus is born from this bloodline. I hope and pray what you take from this is how Satan works but how God also can turn around what was meant for evil for His good. Even what can be learned about abortion here. Look what came from an unwanted pregnancy. Cast Down but Unconquered 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
Consider the source is exactly the technique the Lord Jesus Christ used in raising up Paul to deliver the dispensation of grace. 20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God. 21 Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

How can we be both a sinner and perfectly righteous? As believers now the Holy Spirit seals us. The Holy Spirit didn't seal them back then He would come and go. 2 Peter 1:21 Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit....it wasn't by their own will. God wrote the Bible. You can trust it because it's true. If man wrote it you couldn't trust it. Simply read what it says and see if those things came true or are coming true. I can say yes absolutely they have and no doubt will as we see it coming precisely as written.

The real question is how can we trust the bible if it was written by subjective people who are not prophets? How can we trust the bible which was written by anonymous authors? Contrast this with the Hebrew bible which was unanimously written by proven prophets who are speaking the word of God and every book has the author clearly spelled out
Is it that hebrew bible is also authored by men, not revealed from god. And, these men are not prophets. The writings were attributed to the prophets but that is not a certainty, right?
Revelation states that everyone dies and are before his throne in heaven. It seems to me, people, Christians specifically, are the problem. "for man, it is impossible to enter the kingdom of heaven". The final battle at Armageddon is between believers (wolves in sheep's clothing) against God. The Churches are building their army of ravenous wolves to war against God. But as hard as they may try to convert unbelievers into Christian wolves, they will fail, because, thankfully, Jesus, the Son, was already victorious. Therefore, He can change the outcome of the warning and shorten those days, so that not all flesh is destroyed. The bad news in doing this, is that anyone who still rejects the Truth at that time, will be cast immediately into the eternal fire, spiritually.

Its Amazing what GOD can do to bad people and through bad people see nothing would get done through people if not through bad people for we are all fallen sinners.
Being written by sinners isn't a problem.
The problem is that it contradicts itself constantly, and doesn't align with reality on a lot of its claims.

Here are failed prophecies from the Old Testament and a failed prophecy from the New Testament:
Ezekiel prophesied two separate outcomes for Egypt, total desolation or occupation by Babylon, but neither actually occurred:
Ezekiel 29:12: And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
Ezekiel 29:19: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
Mark chapter 13 has Jesus prophesy his return on clouds of glory within the lifetimes of some to whom he spoke:
Mark 13:26,30: And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory…Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
@@Bugsy0333
Hello, as far as I know the Ezekiel prophescies are endtimes prophecies. So they haven't taken place yet.
And the prophecied return of Jesus is also for the endtimes. Jesus said a Verse before that The Figtree will blossom, and the generation that will see this will see him coming again.
And that did not happen yet.
The figtree blossom means Jerusalem come to believe in Jesus. The Daughter Zion comes to Birth - Born again Christian.

Is that why he had a man murdered?
It takes the whole story to understand not a "gotcha" moment from a piece of the story. It started with one sin that lead to another etc...From II Samuel 11
He'd committed the sin if lusting after another mans wife first.

Taking the language of the Bible, as I do, to be mythical, it nevertheless shows, as language is always sure to do, in any age or country, the true standard of the then ruling morality. And I may safely assert that, as a rule, the greater the amount of religion, or which is the same thing - ignorance, the lower the standard of morality; and vice versa. the greater the amount of intelligence, the less there will be of religion, and the standard of morality will range higher. To many this may seem odd, but it is true, as all history will prove. The instances which may he adduced in proof of the truth of this proposition are very many. One example shall suffice here. This happened toward the end of the fifteenth century, near the close of the "dark ages," when the Christian religion was in the height of its power, and brooked no opposition. " At the siege of Naples in Italy in 1495, a new disease broke out and spread rapidly until it pervaded all ranks. It was syphilis." "If contemporary authors are to be trusted." says Dr. J. W. Draper, "there was not a class, married or unmarried, clergy or laity, from the holy father Leo X to the beggar by the way-side, free from it. It swept over Europe. Its march was equable, unbroken, universal, making good its ground from its point of appearance in the southwest, steadily and swiftly taking possession of the entire continent, and offering an open manifestation and measure of the secret wickedness of society." (Draper, History Intellectual Development of Europe, p. 496.)

Genetic fallacy is also one of the problem of many believers from different churches not only from the atheist.
This issue of God using imperfect people who are nevertheless deemed by Him to be usable enough for Him to be able to get things done well enough for His purposes is also a reason why the inspiration of the Bible has not resulted in the inerrancy of the Bible. The church is still struggling with getting our heads around this, but we need to from an apologetics perspective.
