I still remember riding with my old boss who could rip. When i was a teen i remember asking what tricks he could do. He said "landing is my trick" lol.
Hes definitely underrated as a rider. I mean watch him man he has great bike control! Form isnt the best but he is gnarly on a bike and no one can take that from him! Buttery is the man!
no I dont think he is though, like he has a massive following and has sponsorships and generally is quite accepted in the moto world. like there are a million kids around the world with as much skill as he has that have nothing, so to say hes not getting enough sponsors or followers isnt apart of the convocation, hes not trying to race in any pro setting so no one is doubting his racing ability, hes not competing in any sort of FMX so he cant be considered underrated there either. Hes good but not a superstar rider, he earned his following and sponsorships with his hard work and skill on a bike but to say hes underrated is to say people doubt him and my question to that would be.. doubt him in what? hes not trying to get into anything that youd consider a step up so how can anyone doubt him, hes just riding bikes.
Put him against a pro racer hed probably lose, against a freestyle rider in a comp hed lose, against a pro enduro rider in a race hed probably lose, but thats because hes NOT and NEVER WAS trying to do those things. no one has expectations of him.
hes just having fun and filming it making the best life for himself.
@@a_turn_of_events8390 He is better than most average riders, he is about california B calss when he is pushing. He also has hit 140 footers in the dunes lmfao, I am FAR from a buttery fan but he is a solid rider.
@@ParaMoto910 Im not saying hes not, but compare his fanbase, sponsors, income and opportunities to any other B class rider (which as you say he has to push to get) and youll see hes reaching far beyond what most others are doing when it comes to "fame". Im simply saying hes not underrated at all, I dont hear anyone saying he isnt capable or doubting what hes doing.
Moto is the biggest ego check IMO outside of MMA lol. Just click them laps off and have fun!
It immediately lets you know about the work you put in, the work you didn’t put in, the bike prep you did and the bike prep you didn’t do. Whether it’s mx or road racing, the lap times don’t lie.
i think getting knocked out would be a bit more humbling than getting bad lap times

I believe he has rated himself right. He said he isn't the best he is still learning I appreciate the honesty from the guy! Seems chilled as and his content is epic. And I've really started getting on board with gypsy tales just learn so much about people through this guy!

Thats a big fucking mistake, I crashed and was off work for two years.. now pay cheque! Health insurance and salary insurance is so necessary.
The setup king and ilk are burnt in under a lap. (except for Politelli who genuinely works at stamina) Even though I watch his work weekly it is all contrived for the sycophant commenters here who seem to lap it up. Keep it up, its working.
In this same podcast they mention that Conner is making pretty decent money and seems to be a pretty responsible dude and savvy business man…so it surprises me to hear him say that he doesn’t have health insurance. Seems kind of irresponsible. One bad lick and stay in the hospital could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars if you need some gnarly surgeries.

Yeah he's good but riding is kinda his job I ride once every few weekends at races and am a decent B class rider, if I rode all the time I would def be just as good
