Could the government commit to changing the USDA sugar & corn(syrup) crop subsidy from 15 billion to 8 billion and give that money to fruit & vegetable crops ? According to budget reports, fruit & vegetable farmers don’t even get a billion subsidy in the US. That would change health for children and adults all around the country if lower income families could AFFORD fresh produce over cheap sugary ones
