@@towerranch If there's any military museum in your area, check in with them to see if they have Reenactments or events that will or have happened. absolutely fantastic video! I congratulate you for the excellent shots! These are the best reenactment videos I have seen. Most of them that are taken from the crowds are kinda boring and full of kids talking, screaming, crying, etc. but these actually put you in the action! And the narration is appreciated too!
The acting of being dead in the Kübelwagen was very good tho. I would like to join one re-enactment event tho. Already have a German uniform, just need a MP-40 and a P38 hand gun. Nice stuff and content
Thank you for your videos! They are really cool! I always wanted to know. How do you record 'hits'? Do you guys just fall down when you think you could've been hit or do you use some kind of special ammo?

Back in "the day" like in the 80's. Atterberry was a big tank battle every year. We the 4th and 14th armored would have two or three tanks and a haft track towing a 57 A.T. gun.
Thank you! Since we were on a military base here we left our brass, but I’d guess they have some method of cleaning it up periodically because they do a lot of blank fire training in this area. For public events where there is a crowd watching, they often let the kids pick up the brass as souvenirs after the battle. Those kids clean it up in no time 😂
@@WorldWarWisdom Haha that's great! I was wondering about it from a cost perspective, like if you are loading your own blank rounds the brass must add up. Nice to think each ejected casing could be picked up by a kid and become their inspiration to one day get involved in re-enacting and history!

This stuff looks real good, but I do wonder how the safety stuff comes up with using blanks? Like yeah obviously since no bullets are being used you're not going to actually hit anyone at a distance, but a blank can still do real damage up close or even kill so I feel that's a potential health and safety risk say if someone runs in front of your line of fire or something point blank.
This reenactment more so reminds me of like a Airsoft game compared to your other reenactment videos I've seen on your channel which looked more like for show. Both are cool.
Im a youtuber myself and i showed my grandfather this video and he told me this reminded him of that time he was in Belgium and he was all alone he got lost from his group and he stumbled upon a line of german tanks, one is a king tiger and 3 are panzer IV and he decided to pick up a abandoned panzerschreck and shot the PZ IV At the side armor causing the tank to burn and explode he said it looked horrifying he actually saw the germans gathering around the burning tank questioning what caused it to explode.he said that if he targeted the king tiger he would've never evermade it out of that dangerous and also heroic incident, after that he eventually found another US Lost soldier and they just continued trying to find the other US Soldiers and he said it took them 16 days to find a US Squadron. He said he was so hungry he was starting to act like a psychopath and he mentioned to me that if he spent 4 more days out there he would've gon crazy. This really shows the traumatising moments of war and my grandfather said the deaths are traumatising but the trauma itself is the killer.

It's amazing to think how many rounds of munitions of all calibre didn't hit anyone or anything of importance and were wasted in suppression and just trying to hit someone or something. I bet 20% of rounds fired in ww2 actually hit their mark.
