True evil requires knowing better but choosing to do worse anyway. It requires an understanding of the moral question to at least some degree beyond prior influence, upbringing, or brainwashing. The only person in the show or comic who we see actually do this and show self awareness of the fact on a consistent basis is William Butcher.
One of the things that I love about the Boys universe at least the Amazon version is that almost all if the villains and protagonists that are villainous aren’t actually just completely evil a lot of the said characters are complex and most of the villains are just influenced by an evil corporation, evil world/political views, and being driven insane due to said evil corporation or some other reason
F* you , that is pure brilliance and beauty... Especially Homelander and Butcher, - Homelanders face, that close up... red eyes, yet pure sadness, brokeness in the expression itself, the mark of a great actor for sure. Butcher has the same, he really shows that deep wound of having been betrayed, hurt. The Boys is by far the best when it came to superheroes. They really are shown as the monsters they are.

Soldier boy (apart from how bad he treated Payback) is a good dude who is loyal as he keeps his word. Also he isn’t egotistical as he knows that he took a shortcut to become the strongest in the world, instead of earning it like his dad said.
True
Oh nah... blud did not say he a good dude
1)he murdered people for sport in kent state.
2)He killed so many families that he had lost count☠️
3)Supposedly killed John F kennedy and killed dark skinned people in UK and over-bullied black noir.

Bro did not just say Homelander is broken 💀
Everyone who has been paying attention to the series knows he is broken
@@lepork519 he let a plane crash and didn’t even offer to save a little girl, Fake cried on T.V and then blamed it on the government 💀
No one taught him what's right or wrong and only thing he knows from his past is hatres and torture. His actions can be justified with his past.
Homelander: proof of being broken
- Never had a real childhood
- exploited by a corrupt organization
- painfully experimented on for years
- Isolated in a lab as a youth for years
- accidentally killed parent figures by strength that he didn’t ask for at birth
- Influenced by Noir and Sitwell to be a liar and corrupt as them

Why does the starlight part look so detailed is that actually how erin moriartys faces looks like 😂
Homelander is Pure Evil 💀
No he's not
He was raised by an evil company and still loves his son
Homelander is literally the character that most emotions have shown and people still thinking he's the devil
He was brought up in a lab without a family. If anything, he's the most broken character in the show, bar none.
He’s the guy who destroyed a planes cockpit without even trying to save people on the aircraft, all because “public image” then let them die to save face. The biggest joke is the guy calls himself a hero when he’s really the villain.
Homelander is kinda evil

Homelander is the definition of why you should not raise someone or something in isolation because they never turn out to be the most functional.
Soldier Boy: Broken
He's pure evil
that’s good character writing right there
When soldier boy was younger he was evil but when the Russians took him he's broken now
Soldier Boy was always broken. When he was younger he was a dick because of how his father treated him.
@@mwc2knah my man, being rejected by his father doesn't justify his actions towards people like black noir and mothers milk, tons of people get rejected by their fathers irl, soldier boy's father didn't even beat him once, ya'll need to stop making him the victim
@@prska
Soldier Boy was a bully created by the desire for parental approval... You act as if he specifically targeted them. He abused his entire team, not just Black Noir (yes, that's still shitty), and he didn't kill MM's family on purpose, you've seen how destructive supes are by simply existing... He's even shown genuine remorse for accidentally killing innocent people. He's one of the more redeemable supes.
@@ThePeakOfHumanEvolution69 bullying his entire team is even worse than bullying noir alone bro, you're just proving my point even more, and he didn't show any remorse when mothers milk confronted him about his family's death, he also had no problem killing ryan (a literal kid who only wanted to help his dad) stop putting soldier boy on a pedestal and justifying his actions, yes he's a very well written character, but he was still a shitty person who was no better than homelander himself
How u gonna call Soldier Boy pure evil but not Homelander💀
Because homelander is a psychopath because he never received love from nobody
Soldier Boy is a psychopath just because he wants

Homelander broken and soldier boy evil... what are you on?
Homelander was tortured, used, lied too, feared by the people that raised him. Soldier boys backstory is just karma
@@Jamesw587haven't watched the show but didn't he rape someone? Or was that in the comics?

homelander edit is so cold

True evil requires knowing better but choosing to do worse anyway. It requires an understanding of the moral question to at least some degree beyond prior influence, upbringing, or brainwashing.
The only person in the show or comic who we see actually do this and show self awareness of the fact on a consistent basis is William Butcher.
soldier boy: tortured as an adult
Home lander: tortured as a kid
Starlight is just good, she was sitting in her seat and she was trying to save her friends.
Personally, I would’ve put homelander as both broken and pure evil. Soldier Boy’s more broken than evil imo
The fact that their supposed to be heros but yet their still considered villains is insane
It’s not their fault, it’s Vaught’s
Usually edits like these make me cringe and throw my phone but this one's got me for some reason . Gg man
Homelander is just pure evil
Its fun to see that at some point homelander is just all the three categories pure evil broken and influenced(at least in diabolical)
homelander is really influenced completely from birth, then broken being in society and pire evil when someone disagree or disturb him
Solider boy got me😂😂😂😂
I agree 100% and thats probably a first when it comes to videos like this

No.

Billy Butcher : Broken by Dad, got nothing to loose, influenced at maximum level.
