Both my grandparents just passed away on May 20th. They were married for 60 years, devoted their whole lives to God, saved so many people as they were missionaries. My grandpa was out doing yard work and collapsed from a heart attack, my grandmother called 911 and while the neighbors were doing CPR on my grandpa they looked up and saw my grandma was on the swing on the porch with her head back, she was gone too. I believe 100% that God gave them that gift of going together because of the work they've done. I cannot wait until I see my grandparents again along with the face of Jesus some day. I can't help but to wonder what they are experiencing right now. Brings a smile to my face.

Also, why are you posting that here, and to Joel Karschner? This song is about our glorious release from the groaning of sin when we get to Heaven, not about our lives in Heaven, because no one knows the full extent of it, which is part of the glorious reward in it. Furthermore, this doesn't support your fellow man. Joel commented on how his grandparents died just recently, so I don't think this message encourages him. How does this comfort or support him, or encourage Him to follow Christ and fortify himself in God? Perhaps your argument has merit, but maybe there's a better place to share it.

I was beyond depressed as a child to teen. I remember I would just sit alone in a dark room and cry for hours non stop. I was beyond broken and helpless. I was outcasted and would stay by myself. the very worst you can think of I was! but on April 29 2011 JESUS saved my pitiful soul ! and Now I only look back and only thing I regret is why I didn't accept Him sooner! He was 17 about a week after his b-day😢. god showed me that he had a choice, be with him or the bad place, he didn't do much bad, and chose god, god said that he will take care of his lil sister and me and everybody. he said "ok".me and my daughter still thin of him and his nana, he was her only grandboy and my daughter is the only grandgirl. he was the only closest to my daughter they had a relationship, he had another sister (step sister) different relationships. everyone misses him mostly my daughter no other brother could replace him, no brother me and my daughter will see him and god when its time to go. we will always remember him every day of our lives. Salvation is Free. It is a gift from God through His Son Jesus and when we ask Him into our heart to be our Lord and Savior then our name is written in the book of life. All fall short, our holiness is like rags unto the Lord, God knew this and that is why He sent His Son to die for us. I am a sinner but have been set free because of Him and what He did not because of what I do. Praise be to God for He wants for all men to be saved. I been asking God to give me reason/purpose to live and be great at something because I know faith without work is impossible but I don’t know what God wants to me to do … I’ve been praying to him that he guided me in the right path and show me what he wants me to do with me life. the world is a harsh place. why do we try so hard to live the way we want. with the world we will be hungry thirsty and tired always. when you hold on to Jesus you have peace. when Jesus met the woman at the well he told her he had the living water. that water means when you drink of it you won't thirst for the earth or it's things. I'm exhausted from trying to hold onto the earth and getting ripped off. Jesus I want to run after you. I want to feel your peace and love. Satan's hold is gone his grasp weak. I'm not going to be afraid of him anymore. I love you Jesus.

When we all go to heaven God will have a place for us a place just like earth but better. No pain, no sin, none of that will be there. We will see Jesus everyday. Devil will be in a pit of fire with all the other sinners who never repented.I myself have repented in front of everybody,but I'm a changed person now. It's always good to repent again truthfully because God always hears us. I'm only 13 and watched bad things, but repented. (read the bible and you can learn more)

ah, i remember this one time during devotions i told the teacher to play this song because i was going through a really hard time, to the point where i even considered suicide. while the song was playing i was singing along, and i started crying. i was sitting at the corner of the room, where no one else would pay attention to. after the song ended i was a little better, so i put a smile on my face and continued with the day.

I ask all of you to pray for one of the elders of my church. He's been on dialysis for a few years and recently things haven't been looking good. Everything seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I remember singing a song in the choir called I Stand In Awe Of You and as I was singing from the alter I found my eyes wandering through the people and my gaze met his. I absolutely broke down in tears! In my mind I literally saw him lying in a casket and a strong emotion surged through me. Never have I cried for someone other than my immediate family. But this person has been more of a father to me than my real dad. He's taught me the ways of God, provided me confidence that was once so hard to find, and a need to help others. He's helped me on my journey of growth and spirituality, always going above and beyond for those around him. I'm believing in God right now to touch his kidneys and make him whole once more! I have been dealing with a huge issue with my mom and dad. I mean HUGE. I remember i heard this song a long time ago and i decided to turn in on after i had a huge cry and it made my body feel at peace. There will be a day with no more pain and no more tears. Both my grandparents just passed away on May 20th. They were married for 60 years, devoted their whole lives to God, saved so many people as they were missionaries. My grandpa was out doing yard work and collapsed from a heart attack, my grandmother called 911 and while the neighbors were doing CPR on my grandpa they looked up and saw my grandma was on the swing on the porch with her head back, she was gone too. I believe 100% that God gave them that gift of going together because of the work they've done. I cannot wait until I see my grandparents again along with the face of Jesus some day. I can't help but to wonder what they are experiencing right now. Brings a smile to my face.

Also, why are you posting that here, and to Joel Karschner? This song is about our glorious release from the groaning of sin when we get to Heaven, not about our lives in Heaven, because no one knows the full extent of it, which is part of the glorious reward in it. Furthermore, this doesn't support your fellow man. Joel commented on how his grandparents died just recently, so I don't think this message encourages him. How does this comfort or support him, or encourage Him to follow Christ and fortify himself in God?

Fascinating. However, my point still stands: we don't know for sure what waits for us in Heaven, so how can we dedicate to our Christian walk something that can be a "maybe?" 1 Corinthians 13:9 does say we know in part, but we only know in part.
But before I continue, I should ask you: what is your goal? Why are you trying to convince people of things that are "maybe?" Are you saying vegan is an obligation, or is it a free-will choice? I guess it just seems random to place this argument here, and I suppose that's my real point.
We are called to minister with "gentleness and respect"(1 Peter 3:15), and to be careful of believing in things directed by human understanding (Colossians 2:8). If this is a "maybe," what good does it do to put it in response to a testimony for Christ? How will telling someone "vegan is Christian," (which I have no quarrel with you), supposed to encourage him after his grandparents died? I do apologize if my words seemed rash or offensive, but I don't hear young, Christian men building each other up in Christ like we should. When I saw your first comment, it seemed hasty to me, something that was done with relatively little thought.
I'm not sure how to close this in a clear and encouraging way, but I suppose I want to say: be careful of saying something that may cause division, unless it will further the kingdom of God. I hope this is clear.

My dad is slowly dying of lung cancer...my mo went in 2012 with pancreatic cancer...this song played by her bedside, and all these years I find myself revisiting a song that carried my mom into the afterlife. Those days sitting by her side...and now my dad's. It is all in His hands...always has been. I was beyond depressed as a child to teen. I remember I would just sit alone in a dark room and cry for hours non stop. I was beyond broken and helpless. I was outcasted and would stay by myself. the very worst you can think of I was! but on April 29 2011 JESUS saved my pitiful soul ! and Now I only look back and only thing I regret is why I didn't accept Him sooner! He was 17 about a week after his b-day😢. god showed me that he had a choice, be with him or the bad place, he didn't do much bad, and chose god, god said that he will take care of his lil sister and me and everybody. he said "ok".me and my daughter still thin of him and his nana, he was her only grandboy and my daughter is the only grandgirl. he was the only closest to my daughter they had a relationship, he had another sister (step sister) different relationships. everyone misses him mostly my daughter no other brother could replace him, no brother me and my daughter will see him and god when its time to go. we will always remember him every day of our lives. Salvation is Free. It is a gift from God through His Son Jesus and when we ask Him into our heart to be our Lord and Savior then our name is written in the book of life. All fall short, our holiness is like rags unto the Lord, God knew this and that is why He sent His Son to die for us. I am a sinner but have been set free because of Him and what He did not because of what I do. Praise be to God for He wants for all men to be saved. I really love God so much, I have accepted His son Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Each day I have have failed God in so many ways. I am so blessed that I am washed bye the blood of Christ. I can't wait for the day I don't have to cry and ask God for forgiveness or have to fight the temptations of this world. the world is a harsh place. why do we try so hard to live the way we want. with the world we will be hungry thirsty and tired always. when you hold on to Jesus you have peace. when Jesus met the woman at the well he told her he had the living water. that water means when you drink of it you won't thirst for the earth or it's things. I'm exhausted from trying to hold onto the earth and getting ripped off. Jesus I want to run after you. I want to feel your peace and love. Satan's hold is gone his grasp weak. I'm not going to be afraid of him anymore. I love you Jesus.

When we all go to heaven God will have a place for us a place just like earth but better. No pain, no sin, none of that will be there. We will see Jesus everyday. Devil will be in a pit of fire with all the other sinners who never repented.I myself have repented in front of everybody,but I'm a changed person now. It's always good to repent again truthfully because God always hears us. I'm only 13 and watched bad things, but repented. (read the bible and you can learn more)

ah, i remember this one time during devotions i told the teacher to play this song because i was going through a really hard time, to the point where i even considered suicide. while the song was playing i was singing along, and i started crying. i was sitting at the corner of the room, where no one else would pay attention to.
after the song ended i was a little better, so i put a smile on my face and continued with the day.

I ask all of you to pray for one of the elders of my church. He's been on dialysis for a few years and recently things haven't been looking good. Everything seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I remember singing a song in the choir called I Stand In Awe Of You and as I was singing from the alter I found my eyes wandering through the people and my gaze met his. I absolutely broke down in tears! In my mind I literally saw him lying in a casket and a strong emotion surged through me. Never have I cried for someone other than my immediate family. But this person has been more of a father to me than my real dad. He's taught me the ways of God, provided me confidence that was once so hard to find, and a need to help others. He's helped me on my journey of growth and spirituality, always going above and beyond for those around him. I'm believing in God right now to touch his kidneys and make him whole once more! God please touch this elder and his family Lord! Strengthen where he has been weakened!
Christ willing gave his life for ours he suffered and died on the cross and payed the penalty for our sin he put our sins on his body and became a blood sacrafice for us God loves us so much that he willfully Died on that cross and rose again on the third day. And he is in heaven right now preparing a place in his father's kingdom for us and soon his return will be the most amazing thing that will ever be seen and Heaven will be the most amazing place that words could not describe. And all this was done by the most amazing and only God that created heaven and Earth. May we give him glory for eternity. AMEN

I have been dealing with a huge issue with my mom and dad. I mean HUGE. I remember i heard this song a long time ago and i decided to turn in on after i had a huge cry and it made my body feel at peace. There will be a day with no more pain and no more tears. Missing my sweet Daddy wish i could rewind back to October 6, 2012. I would sing to him all over again. He is in no more pain, he is forever brand new.
