Who noticed the part where I forgot to cut out my stammering? 😅

It is charming. It is real. Do you know what "Kintsuji" is?

I've almost finished reading this book again. Such a great story, but a lot to unpack.
You've done such a good job capturing the dreamy almost nightmarish vibe of the novel.
I'm glad that you had Murakami's work, specifically Wind-Up Bird, to give you comfort in those hard times (I know he's got me through a few myself). You should be really proud of this video.
Appreciate what we have while we have it-I can't think of a more profound lesson that we need to be reminded of constantly.

Thank you so much. As you said, there is a lot to unpack. So many things we can discover with every read, and it is beautiful to see that he helps us adapting many messages into our life.

    Great video!
I paired some of my nightly readings of this book with a glass of Cutty Sark. lol

Interesting work. The ending and weaving in loss of home and place with Last Black Man in SF was evocative

Just wanted to write some quotes, but you've already put it into this movie ❤ A real piece of art, of Murakami art! Bravo! This year I've read the Wind-up bird for the 6th time and I am more and more impressed. Thank you for such a great movie!

You know what, I've also decided to start with Murakami just two months ago, which I wanted to do for a very long time. And as I anticipated, I fell in love with his writings as well :) I started his bibliographie in order of the publication dates, and have just reached "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" :) It is an unbelievable joy, that is almost impossible to describe, as every Murakami-lover would confess very eagerly. :) I coincidentally stumbled upon your channel couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying your content slowly and with love, really :) I'm being cautious about the videos though, since I want absolutely no spoilers, thus I can't yet enjoy this one yet :P But I've been struggling to find Murakami lovers to form a book club with, which could be an amazing thing to do in my opinion. I would really love something like that. :) I wish you had formed a Murakami-Book-Club, where we all could read and discuss the books together :( Either on Discord or on a Telegram group etc. Anyways, lots of love and enjoy the rest of your Murakami, as much as you can :)

Beautiful and profoundly moving; a personal sentimental favorite of mine, the first I read in the Japanese original and one of his most iconic works - I also had the feeling of actually being with Toru in the well, and I believe only those who have sounded the depths of depression can understand it

No offense, but using generic stock footage all the time was turning me off from watching the video. You do have a good voice and the editing is better than just an entire of video of your face on camera talking like most vloggers ive seen out there.
Im just saying make it bit more interesting or creative.

Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate any words, actually that’s the only way to improve. You have adressed something I definitely want to reduce, so I hope you‘ll stay tuned 😉
