    I bought the world fit ISO trainer in May and I love that thing I haven’t really trained with anything much else and I even built my own iso chain device now I just use that for testing. It has a crane scale on it. and you love this world for iso trainer. I purchased it and it’s an amazing tool. I love it.

      I’m amazed at the progress you can make with overcoming isometrics and love the fact that you can train really heavy as if you’re training for powerlifting without using all those weights all of my dead lift videos that I’ve done which is really only two so far are on my Facebook not on my RUclips, but in February I did 444 450 I think And in May I did 473 that’s pounds at the top of the isometric dead lift so I’m pretty impressed with what overcoming isometrics can do

    Absolutely worth every cent! I watched your review and purchased one at the end of Nov. Versatility, strength, light weight, quality manufacturing, portable...all the qualities I look for in equipment. Nit-picking: I wish it had a true workout book!!! Now that would be heaven. Now I'm making my own squat plate (DIY) and hooking it with a carabiner. Love it!!! Thanks Matt.

    I have to agree with you. For $30 it cannot be beat. As you mentioned the handles and the strap and buckles are all excellent. Many of my students have purchased one for themselves after using mine. After several months of use, mostly outside in dirt, sand, rocks and leaves, it is holding up well. The cam buckles are bullet-proof, the handles still look brand new, and the strap itself is showing almost no wear at all...except for a few spots of dried pine sap. One thing that you didn't mention, that I like, is the slight "give" when you first begin your isometric contraction. I find that this gives me a more objective sense the amount of force I am generating. Stay strong and free brother. ZK

    I've been using a forearm forklift strap for isometrics for 4 or 5 years. The forearm forklift strap works great for many exercises, especially the isometric squat. But there are a few exercises where the forearm forklift strap is not optimal. So I just ordered the World Fit Iso-trainer. I can't wait to try it out. And thanks for informing your fans about this product!

It can be used for a hand full of things such as a suspension trainer or hung like gymnastic rings plus be used for neutral grips for weight lifting. I don't know about isometric exercises. What is the advantage? Do they replace full range of motion body weight training? Can you do they in a HIT circuit to muscle failure?

    • @davepazz580
      @davepazz580 5 лет назад

      Check Matt's recent uploads for the answer... but in short, the advantage is to more completely activate the muscles to then be put to better use during actual bodyweight exercises.

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  5 лет назад +2

      You can't replace one type of training with any other type so no, isometrics won't replace dynamics. but another way to think about it is that dynamics won't replace isometrics either.

    Have you ever tried a Judo belt?
    They are well made, sturdier than that some other martial arts belts, as in Judo it gets grabbed and used to throw people.
    It's good for stretching too.
    I imagine you could hang a weight off of it if you have enough length, but I've never tried it.

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 года назад +2

      MA belts work great, more for the pulling than the pushing exercises. It's tricky to press into the belt with a pushing move as it places force on the wrist on one side. But they certainly hold up very well for sure.

      It's actually pretty smooth, mostly due to the fact that there's no center point on the strap. I just keep one of the handles at one end of the strap and adjust the other handle. The straps will self-adjust to be perfectly level and balanced.

    So good to see a review of this product.
    I have seen it mentioned a few times in a group devoted to isometric exercise on Facebook.
    (facebook.com/groups/2232463886980659)
    A member of the group shared the link to this review, and now I am pretty enthusiastic about giving it a try.
    Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate it and give your opinion.

    Made my own simular. Fortunately I have a wife with a sewing machine. This looks like a great item.

      Kenneth Moulder you may get more results if you overhead press the sowing machine ! Lol 😂 only joking . I do isometrics daily .

      @@dennispickard7743 love a bit of isometrics. Great for dialing in that mind muscle connection. I'm not adversed to using dumbells and heavy resistance bands but mostly gym rings. The bands and dumbells fill in the gaps and add a bit of variation and the isometrics is something I've done for years. It's all good.

    I use the Sierra hook setup. It can double as a isometric trainer and a suspension trainer and I use resistance bands with the handles to do chest expander exercises. www.sierraexercise.com/

    Don't waste your money on this. Get a suspension trainer. You can use it just like this strap and also have a suspension trainer also. Two for one. I recommend Jon Hinds basic unit. $49.95

      This is a suspension trainer too, maybe you missed that half of the video.

      Yea, unfortunately Beaker had a little accident during one of the testing phases. We're still looking for his other eye

    I'm looking at this on Amazon now. It's $100 +! Urghh... I'm very tempted but under $100 would be easier on my wallet!

      That can't be right, unless that's relative to where you live.
      Through their website it's only $30: bit.ly/3mJfbvS
