Yea these are def the best shoe list for new runners!!! Originally started off getting the ghosts then got the peg 39s next, I’ve been running for 3 almost 4 years now and my daily trainers are invincible run 3s and I use streakflys, vaporflys for speed and Dragonfly’s for race day!!! Started off with a 5k pr of 27:49 in 2021 and now my pr is a 16:21 and I’m a jr
Puma velocity Nitro 2 is also one quite underrated shoe got it for about 90$ equivalent in India and it is really very comfortable. Puma is always good for new runners and these shoes also have a very good life.
My go to is the ASICS GT-1000 10. Tonnes of cushion, but nothing too ridiculous, narrow but secure ankle, and wide toe box to allow for maximal grip! I love them and I’ve been wearing them for a year! Need to get myself a new pair!
I started with Adidas Supernova 2, it has 500 km now and it still looks like new with just only a little wear at the outsole. Adidas sole is unbeatable when it comes to durability 🥳
Tried the Hoka Clifton 8. Right out of the box, took a few steps in them and knew I was returning them immediately. Way too narrow on the midsole/arch and toe box that was too tight on the sides
My Novablast 3 just showed up at my doorstep today! About to replace my Rincon 2 with something a bit more plush - probably either clifton 9 or possibly some New Balance
I love the hoka clifton 8 and I have the Pegasus 36 and it’s a workhorse for me I got over 500 miles in and loved every minute I am a large brooks fan but I’ve never tried ghost series but I love the adrenaline and launch series
My first pair of running shoes came from a mall and they were a pair of asics walking shoes and I probably put a thousand miles on them. Now i’m paying 300+ dollars for alphaflys and spikes on my journey to 14:59. I wish it was simple like the old days.
Avoid the Ghost if you're a new runner with a history of knee problems. That 12mm drop completely destroyed my knees. I switched to the Clifton and Mach 5 and haven't had any problems since.
Im a big guy ans the Ghost SUCKS for my feet. Cant wear Brooks now. NEVER tried the Hoka but the Peg-39 is trash. The Infin Run2 is better and far cheaper if u can find it.
Ghost is a domestic shoe for US market, I believe it's barely known elsewhere. Pegasus, on the contrary, is the most commercial shoe on the market. Both are okay if you want "just running shoes". Clifton slightly stands out. In all, pretty boring options.
There’s not a better feeling then getting some running shoes and can’t wait to try them on, feels like you can conquer the world
Truly
It just feels like you can never go wrong with these 3 models
I got the Pegasus 39 today, excited for my morning run. 😊
How was it
@@Ronadabotlol bro got left on read, or maybe she tripped and died.
@@Lee-One lmao
@@Lee-One yooo 😂😂😂 wtf
@@Lee-One ayo bro is bout' to cry 💣
My favorite would have to be the ghosts. I tried the hokas and the high arches gave me huge blisters on an 8 mile run. Also love the pegs though!

Had it for 63€
I have the Hoka Clifton 8 and it's amazing.

I haven’t bought running shoes in over 5 years and I’m picking a pair right now, Im ecstatic!
Which one did you end up buying?
Really like the ghost 15 and bought the peg 39 for my wife

Make sure you get the wide version, they make different widths
Have all 3, Pegasus wins by a long shot. For me at least.
Nike pagasus 39, hoka mach 5, asics novablast 3
Good choice
completely agree
My Novablast 3 just showed up at my doorstep today! About to replace my Rincon 2 with something a bit more plush - probably either clifton 9 or possibly some New Balance
Nike Pegasus 40 I just bought😊
I love the hoka clifton 8 and I have the Pegasus 36 and it’s a workhorse for me I got over 500 miles in and loved every minute I am a large brooks fan but I’ve never tried ghost series but I love the adrenaline and launch series
Ryan whats ur go to running shoe atm?
How would new runners know what's a good running shoe ?
Nice info qould be if they have wide widths
Are the carbon x 3 good as training shoes through out the week?
Pegasus looks nice
Peggys are elite shoes. No other running shoe offers the same level of performance for its price
I love the term peggys for the Pegasus😆 I’ll have to use that now!
You think the nike free metcon 5 are no good for jogging , sprinting and low jumps?
What colorway is the pegasus
I live on a gravel road are these still good choices

I loved Hokas, but they’re too soft and made me pronate and now I’m dealing with severe shin splints. I’m not a new runner either

❤
I bought nike alpha fly 2
guys help me i am not getting motivation to run
Pegasus solid new runner shoe
Change the Clifton for Mach 5 and 👌🏼
The Ghost is $140 now lmao
man u can't beat pegasus with any of those!
Just switched to Brooks and quite happy with them. It outperforms other brands at the price IMO.
noice
W video! Can’t afford shoes rn tryna save up 😅
Buy last years model or find them slightly used to save a TON
Where’s Tempus!
Asics GEL-CUMULUS 😩😩😩
I can not run with all that cushion.
Im a big guy ans the Ghost SUCKS for my feet. Cant wear Brooks now. NEVER tried the Hoka but the Peg-39 is trash. The Infin Run2 is better and far cheaper if u can find it.
I'd recommend trying Hoka out. Just make sure to check for wide options of the models you like if your feet are wide at all.
People just get the endorphin speed 3
Nimbus
Love the Nimbus. Had the 24, really want the 25
I run in LeBrons 😂

There no better feeling than barefoot running.
Mizuno wave rider 26 beats all three
Nah, HOKA are terrible running shoes. Do yourself a favour and bypass them at all costs. Get a good pair of Novablasts or something
Can you recommend a disgustingly comfortable pair of runners for someone who has fucked up feet?
Nike ? REALLY?
What a terrible shoe to start all 3.. they all lack the element of fun..
Heyyy mf.....this is out of budget....😂
All terrible choices that you ll want to upgrade within 3 months.
Why?
And whats your top pic if not these…
useless comment if u dont say why, or dont recommend something else
