    With technology advances that we almost take for granted, our electronic
    devices are becoming smaller. Naturally we expect this trend to continue.
    We want our screens bigger and battery life longer. /But/ we’re at a
    breaking point. Watch this video to learn about how TI's new active clamp
    flyback controller can transform your next AC/DC charger design.

    Wicked high switching frequency is a technical term, it means shitload of cycles per second.

    Think local,
    Act global.
    PS: I like your green leaves indicator in your circuit. That's brilliant!

    Good but why don't you have links in the video description so we can easily get the data sheets, see selection tools, etc.? I didn't see any links in the last TI video I watched either. I don't know maybe TI is new to this semiconductor business and they can't afford to have a marketing/sales department? LOL... come on guys!

    The only thing is missing is that it must be a low side controller with a more effective sync rectifier.

    "Wicked high" defined by IEEE as block rockin' freq's.

    Hello! Can the active clamp technique be realized in a self-oscillating flyback?

    No silicon fast enough? Bro, i have a tube radio with this topology. It uses transistors. Didn’t fully understand exactly what the weird transistor to the side was

    Sir, can I use this topology to achieve solar charge controller?

    • @filips7158
      @filips7158 3 года назад +1

      You would use a more suitable topology for higher power (forward, half/full-bridge), flyback is for low-cost, low component count uses.

      300kHz to 500kHz normally, so better to choose GAN as main switch
