I tasted through Louis Roederer, Bollinger, Ruinart, Pol Roger, Moet et Chandon and Veuve Cliquot to see which one I'm going for to have on Christmas, New Years and beyond!
First time viewer. You’re spot on in your presentation. I truly hope stopping is not on your mind. Your explanations are succinct and accessible. Those two attributes are what viewers crave.
Just brilliant and thank you so much. I really appreciate your tasting notes easily understandable and clear. I have some bottles of Comte Audoin Dampierre from my late father and it is so hard to find this now. Thanks again and a Hard New Year in.
Roederer or bust, only GM that is innovative, genuine and cares more about the quality of the Champagne then the marketing. + started biodynamic conversion on their 100% self owned vineyards of which they make all their wines.
Very interesting video, and it shows you are putting a lot of effort in it! Perhaps you could make the bouquet description a bit more detailed, the rest is great, loving the energy ❤
Great video. Not a grand marque but for those who like pinot noir champagne I can strongly recommend Gallimard Pere et fils Blanc de noirs. It’s unbelievable quality for the price (about £35 a bottle).
It's funny as I prefer the pinot notes in champagne but I'm with you, they are all great, and I'd drink them, but if it came down to it, I'd pick Bolly. Having said that, Can't go wrong with Roederer
Love the video, love the energy, love the knowledge. Keep it up! (One little thing though - you’re out of focus in the head on view! Great focus on the bottles at the back but not you)
The last champagne I had was a Dom Perignon 2015 Brut. It was delicious. Definitely got citrus notes on the finish. Initial flavors were of rich fruitiness and bready fermentation. You make wine seem almost erotic. Fascinating.
Like the video, however I do not find any of them worth of their price. When compared to similarly tasting grower champagnes, big houses cost twice the amount. With the money you only get a known brand, (maybe some luxory among common people who dont know any grower brands) and better availability. Once you have been doing this long enough, the big brands stop being interesting - if you do not count their prestiges (they usually are still hot, but also very expensive).
Please keep doing these for a bit, the audience will come, dont give up on this chanel soon :)
Seconded. I refuse to use Instagram now so would love to see you grow this channel.
LOVE your Insta. Had no idea there were longer videos on RUclips. So happy I’ve found this. Just brilliant!
Loads of fun, and this man is deeply versed. Will be watching all of his videos.
I'm not a wine snob fan but I am loving you and your channels, access to us common folk I'm learning loads. Thanks

Ruinart Blanc de Blanc any day for me. Worth every penny.

Great, fun video, I'll look forward to many more
Saw you yesterday on Insta - followed, searched on Ytube and here you are! An absolut banger!
Hard to go wrong with anything Roederer. Cheers.
Wierd how not more subscribers, this video is excellent and I watch a lot of wine content
Great to see you doing longer content. Please keep it up!
Good video! Less chaotic and just technical enough. Keep it up.

I really like your energy. Please do more videos!!! RUclips for wine needs to be more than Konstantin Baum and the Wineking!!!
One of my favs is the Phillipponnat Champagne Blanc de Noirs Extra-Brut Vintage. Flipping ace that one
Very good video, I would like to see more champagne vids, and this format was great.
High quality stuff and well presented. Hope the algorithm does you justice
Love your videos. Happy Christmas.
fantastic! please do more long videos

For 40 quid I prefer Taittinger which is also very Chardonnay heavy and fresher than the Moet or Veuve Clicquot.
Great vid!
Myself and my Wife are really enjoyiny your videos, they are Wife and Wanker approved!
Great review, thanks!

Krug is my favorite of the houses I have tried.
The ‘POLI Rogerrr’ is killing me💀💀💀💀
Great video and such a shame about the Jolly Roger, beautiful fizzy plonk. Would have Tatti or Mumm over Moet or Veuve any day.
More long form videos please!
Didint know you had a RUclips I’m happy to be apart of the family and one day we’ll make a video collab about wine! I just gotta get bigger
Nice bottle of Sadie Skerpioen in the background
If you like the Möet, just go their Ice Imperial. It is absolutely my favourite champagne. Ill take it over bottles many times more expensive.
It's funny as I prefer the pinot notes in champagne but I'm with you, they are all great, and I'd drink them, but if it came down to it, I'd pick Bolly. Having said that, Can't go wrong with Roederer
Love the Bolly, but would go with a Gosset ifngiven the chance
Love the video, love the energy, love the knowledge. Keep it up! (One little thing though - you’re out of focus in the head on view! Great focus on the bottles at the back but not you)

Pol Roger is my bottle of choice (mainly just because they have not succumbed to the LVMH group) so I was gutted to see the bottle was corked!
A heady mousse in a beer might be a moussy head...

Yes, if you visit champagne you can get some stunning champagnes - vintage Borel-Lucas in Etoges is such an example. Amazing value.
Would have been fun blind!
We all know that Bollinger, Ruinart and Louis Roederer are great champagne houses, and Moët is the worst quality champagne of all.
Strange flex to get pedantic over the pronunciation of mid sparkling wine.
Did you just pick the corked wine? 😅
Bacteria Tom?
Moet should be banned from any review. Its the worst one can try.
It’s obviously Krug, I don’t need to watch a video.
