Hi, very good video catch up on your projects, I have a few projects to complete in the coming weeks, I have directional and cab lighting to a few of my class 08 locomotives and also sound fit a few as well, I have an APT project to start very soon, I’m upgrading the lighting with ESU units with onboard dcc decoders and I have to fit sound into it as well, if I could get hold of a dummy power car I would like to fit a motorised pantograph into it, Hornby should have developed it a lot more than they did, unfortunately they tend to cut as many corners as possible to save money, I have 2x power cars with 2x extra coach packs and the test coach which take the rake up to 11 cars which is enough for me, the interior upgrade with the correct seating looks great, I saw the video on it a while ago. I have the Bachmann observation coach in BR blue/grey livery to fit lighting into along with the Hornby Pullman observation coach which will also get the lighting upgrade with the yellow effect ESU lighting, I converted my Bachmann class 46 RTC livery loco to 21 pin dcc socket and fitted factory directional lighting and cab lighting, I hope to get a sound decoder for it for my birthday in a few months, the speaker selection will be a challenge because there isn’t a great deal of room on the chassis, I hope all goes well with your projects, thanks for sharing.

@@StormmyStormmy looks like you’ve got quite a few projects on the go. I would be quite interested in the class 08 lighting project is that the Bachmann 08. Or the Hornby 08.
The ESU lighting units look interesting, especially with DCC decoders on board so that will enable you to have independent lighting functionality. as I remember when Hornby did a second batch of the APT, They did some upgrades to a 21 pin DCC socket plus they added a driver and a few other improvements. I can’t wait to get on with this project but I still need to complete the work in the house first all the best and happy modelling Phil.

@@AdiPullen Thank you for commenting Adi He is always nice to have projects on the go, but they do take up a lot of time. I need to complete the living room. I can’t wait to have a purpose built workbench then I can leave and pick up projects on the go without having to put everything away and then get it back out again thank you kindly for your comment happy modelling all the best Phil.
