  • Ace, a Basenji from Santa Monica, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Board and Train Program. Ace was trained by Katie Lapin in Los Angeles, CA.
Ace came to Balanced Canine Training SoCal with varying behavioral issues, including pulling on the leash, squirrel chasing, jumping up when greeting, counter surfing, generally not listening to commands, and barking at strangers. Balanced Canine Training SoCal was successful in transforming Walker into a well-managed pup.
The dog trainers at Balanced Canine Training SoCal are here to help you and your dog be as amazing as our before and after videos! Contact us today 562-448-3774

Amazing! I adopted a year old basenji and it has been so much challenge! I’ve never encountered a dog/breed like this before and i have tendency to believe he is another animal undercover- pretending to be a dog! lol. I wonder how to get more help training this breed especially off-leash in a countryside. Any help is appreciated. I’m upstate NY! 🙏🏼

I think they use a shock collar

@@FunSizeTwix1 exactly. They are animal abusers. This has nothing to do with serious dogtraining.
Bootcamps are antisocial bullshit thats damaging dogs
Funny :they call them Offleash, but although they use abusive bullshit they are not able to walk the basenji offleash. 😂

@@saarlooswolfhund6237 Hmm.. i only used a e-collar for a dog that was beyond trainable/super aggressive and it let her run off-leash and have a social life that she would otherwise never had. Now - i have a basenji and i’ve never encountered such a unusual dog. It is wild and very hard to train (I adopted a year old)… so when i see a trained Basenji, I’m impressed! They could be an avalanche of terror even-though in a different way then other breeds could! Mine is like having a fox or hyena in the house lol. If you have any experience with training this breed, any info is appreciated! 🙏🏼

@@saarlooswolfhund6237 are Basenji’s trainable off-leash without e-collar? Because mine (was a year old when i adopted him and 3 months later - he still would not hesitate for a second to run away into forest whenever he gets a chance to chase animals!) … and i would let him run, only if dOGo wouldn’t re-appear terrorizing chickens at a farm next door 40 min later! Any suggestion is appreciated!
