Thanks for the cool video, still debating which brand/system to get, also looking at JBL's options. Both sound phenomenal but I have a feeling it has something to do with the guitar player as well :) The Bose sounds insanely smooth but the Turbo sounds a little more "live" to me.
I was just exposed to the Bose L1 system at a small restaurant gig last weekend. Each of 2 guitarists had their own system. They said they'll never go back to traditional guitar amps with speakers on pipe stands, unless they need to move a lot more volume than any of their venues call for. Too bad I didn't have the proper cables to run direct from the L1's 1/4" TRS output to my Tascam DR-40. I was prepared for the male XLRs on the back of the Fishman amps a few other players here use. I'm enlightened :). On this demo, the Turbosound still sounds "amplified" where the Bose "just is" and seems transparent between the guitar and my ears. I suppose one could play with the EQ for longer than this video's duration to get them closer to each other in sound.
Gary, thank you so much for this demo. I play at churches, nursing homes Hospitals and am tired of lugging in a bulky PA system. I was looking for reviews on the Bose L1 compact when I came across you review.I had not heard of the Turbosound IP1000 and was blown away with the sound. I'm still going to go for the Bose system because of the weight , but your's is truly the best comparison I've seen. Great playing also. Thanks . tom
Hi Tom, Thank you for the kind words. I am so glad this was helpful. I made the side-by-side comparison for myself as well since its easier to listen more objectively when I am not actively playing. I agree the Bose L1C is super friendly and easier to carry. I use the Bose anytime I am in an extremely confined area where it is right behind me or next to me. The Turbosound IP1000 sounds best when I can place it at least 4-6 feet to my side and behind me a little.
This is just my opinion. The ability of a system to accurately reproduce the sound of the instrument is the goal. In other words it wouldn’t be possible to distinguish the instrument itself versus the sound reproduced from the system.
I have the Maui 5 but it’s just not loud enough for my acoustic duo. Ehh always feedback issues. Most places we play are decent size restaurants and bars. Considering the Bose or turbo. We need to be much louder
Hi Scott, it’s very good and may have better projection. But for 50-75 people it’s probably a toss up. A mixer will have effects which my older turbosound lacks. But o think the current IP1000 v2 has reverb. I like the simplicity and not carrying a speaker stand.
When one uses a Bose Tonematch, the only disadvantage of a MAUI would be, that you have to put it behind you, Bose is a bit more flexible. But you pay 2/3 of the Bose.
There are ways to use a Bose Tonematch and mount on a mic stand or put it in front of you, but its not very elegant as it needs AC power using a power brick and cord to the Tonematch. There are a lot of other great mixers at half the cost of a Tonematch, such as the Behringer xAir. For my needs however I don't need or use an external mixer.
Excellent guitar playing and tone, Gary! I am a Bose owner (L1 MII) and honestly couldn't decide which one sounded better, although I think the Evolve 50 might be better than both the Bose AND the Turbosound.
The Turbosound is the best I think. I have played every PA thst is made like this and I find the Turbosound has the most power, the best value, and the cleanest tone.
Aloha Gary! Enjoyed the review and the playing. How is it that you can pull the cable out and in without the loud quack. I noticed only a soft quack when you were using the wireless. Thanks! Happy New Year!
Someone already mentioned that although some may think the Bose is better, I don't know if at the price points of the two, the Bose is very expensive. Turbo is what I think I would buy.
Hello Gary. A bit late to the party... a great compare video of the two of the systems I have on my shortlist... Question: Which of these would you recommend in lieu of... a guitar amp? I play metal (think prog) but I like a polished smooth sound and I often use guitar synth so I need to cover a MUCH wider sonic spectrum than a typical guitar occupies. So I had an idea to use a column system as an amp (and monitor...) to have the sound on my ear level. And I'd still feed into PA, so a column would be to cover podium only. I tried the 'full-size' Bose system with a SUB and it was amazing. But way out of my league :) ANY advice or thought would be welcome! Thanks.
The bose is twice the price but is NOT twice as good making IMHO Turbo Sound the clear winner. You could buy 2 turbo sounds and run stereo for the same price and that would crush the bose
Very nice playing Gary - and with a flat pick too! Were I to play something similar it would be with a fist full of finger picks. It's been awhile since I had that kind of control picking string to string with a flat pick. I preferred the Turbosound slightly and appreciate you demoing it side by side with the Bose. If ever I were to gig again, I'd be looking at a system like that as it's tiresome packing my old Carvin Stagemate S400D system in and out of venues - which near the end always came with a flight of stairs! ;^)
I thought that just for acoustic guitar the Bose L1 is fine. The. Bose is detailed but is lacking low mid weight. The Turbo Sound in this setting seems warmer with more mids (which may not be as appealing to the ear on just AC guitar) . I’m looking at a compact system now for AC guitar and vocals. I’m leaning towards the Turbo Sound because it does have enough low mids and lows to keep the vocals punchy without being too thin. Do you sing through these systems too? If so how do the vocals stack up?
Dilki, thank you! I did something new last week. I used both in tandem! I used the line-out from the Bose and connected it to the input on the Turbosound. That was very cool and illustrated the difference between systems. The Bose is a bit scooped and thinner sounding in the midrange and treble. The Turbosound is more balanced and delivers a more even frequency range.
Hey There, thanks for this side by side. I am just wondering how is regular music playback through the Turbo Sound vs the Compact? Would you say you could get more volume out of it vs the Compact? The reason I ask, is I play live music, but also DJ. I currently have a fella that works for me and I send him out with my Fender Expo, which is a line array system that looks very much like the Turbo Sound. Only problem is the Fender seems to be discontinued. Will soon be in need of another unit.
Nice comparison bro! The fiddle back D-18/Anthem sounds very natural, phat and full... amp wise straight in the Turbo is punchier, but the Bose is more airy and natural. The Plat-Pro sweetens up the eq nicely. Beautiful Gro-bro, thank you for your efforts here. :)
I agree on all points Eric. The Turbosound IP1000 snuck up on me. It IS punchier. It delivers more frequencies in a balanced, fuller way, As long as I can set up far enough from it.I can set up right in front of the Bose and it sounds sweet near and far. But the Turbo requires a little more distance since its punchier and more immediate sounding. The Bose sort of sits back and breathes which is really nice. The Anthem works better in the D-18 than my other guitars. Crazy combination of all the right ingredients. Thx Bro
Performed with the Bose L1 for the last two + years. It was missing the punch I like. The Turbo has more grit. I feel it boils down to your style of playing. The TS is worth a shot.
Hi Glenn, thank you! I use the Electro Harmonix 720 Stereo Looper. Easy to use, cost friendly, has 10 storage banks and sounds very natural. Highly recommended. I just bought a third one for another pedal board.
What sort of stomp box do you mean? I used the Turbosound IP1000 for outdoor corporate shows a lot. Up to a 100 guests. I've started actually gigging with the Bose L1 Compact "And" the IP1000. I use the Bose behind or off to the side and get better vocal near field monitoring and the IP1000 tends to have a little more punch.
@@gair1944 Thanks for the reply! Its actually a Roland SPD:ONE KICK with a sampled kick drum. Its more for solo shows so not competing with drums however i may use it as foldback for band gigs if it works ok. Currently using a single 15" EV ZLX-15P which is great however id like more dispersion, throw and thump :)
@@clintwhite3021 Not sure the Turbosound IP1000 will have more thump than your EV ZLX-15. If you used a Mixer with the EV, that might give you more flexibility. But the TurboSound IP1000 might disperse more evenly and widely than a conventional speaker like your EV.
@@gair1944 My current EV is just a full range point source box so hoping with the iP100's 2x dedicated 8" subs on the ground it'll have more guts to it. Definitely disperse nicer and have better 3D characteristics id say. Guess ill have to test one out. Thanks again!
Yes I owned an EV Evolve 50 for a couple years. It is absolutely superb. Perhaps better then either of these with the exception of the much larger subwoofer/bass module. I was disappointed in the App being more limited for tonal shaping than the Turbosound. That surprised me. The app may have evolved since I sold my EV 50 last year. It really is very nice, but way overkill for 90% of my shows. - PS: The Evolve 30 is probably a better size/fit. I may try one at some point, but the Bose is just so easy to work with. I do wish it had reverb. Oh well.
Hi Gary, quick question if you don't mind. Is it possible to connect the IP500/1000 unit to a receiver as a speaker? Would like to use a couple as a surround system. Thanks
you would have to use a line level signal from the receiver since this is a powered unit. I imagine it could be done but that was not its intended application. The tower speakers are oriented from midrange (lower) to tweeter at the top. So I think the alignment from a seated position might not be optimal
I have Bose L1 compact and MAUI 5. When connecting a microphone directly to the system, the Bose is much much better. But when I use a TC Helicon Microphone Preamp and plug it's output via DI box in micro in, there's not much difference. Ok, on Bose I can use the equalizer. Had opportunity to compare MAUI 11 and 5 and noticed, that the bass ist the same, not lower on the 11. I also noticed, the 11 is heavier, but not so much, as I expected.
Thanks Rob. I was always curious about the Maui systems. The Bose simply works great straight in. I also use a TC Helicon Harmony Singer pedal. It adds reverb for my vocals and also has the 'harmony' feature that I use sparingly. It fits my pedal board and eliminated my need for any external mixer (to add reverb to the Bose or Turbosound), neither of which have any effects.
I like the TS better. PLUS, the price, at 649 you can eventually buy two IF you want OR add a standalone Turbosound sub OR if you do a small string ensemble in say a coffeehouse that seats 50 to 100, add an XR-18 mixer for another 500 and a reliable tablet/laptop to control everything. (Using cat 5 NOT WIFI)..
The Turbosound has a more neutral/balanced sound, specially with the Anthem - It sounds like a Martin with the TS. Bose, eh. The Bose may sound more ear pleasing and clear but I think this is due to the built-in EQ and compression in which alters the tone to achieve a 3D sound and also shooting the frequencies in the mid-highs and highs further. The Bose sounds like its has a scoop in the mids and slightly in mid-lows, this emphasizes those mid-highs and highs in which is why people say it sounds more pleasing than the TS. This alteration also causes your Martin to sound less like a Martin in which has very warm lows and mid-lows. The TS is my winner! My Midas board/interface would be more flexible with the TS and if I wanted that Bose “sound”, I can achieve close to it with the Midas app using EQ and compression on the master channel. Personally, I’ve never liked the Bose sound as a PA solution.
Bose was brilliant however the Turbosound I.e Maui 11 gave better punch. Depends on application Bose compact great for quieter places the Turbosound for application that requires a bit more punchy sound.
Hi Rich, I could not agree more. You encapsulated exactly how I feel about both these systems. The Bose lays back and works great in quiet/super near-field settings. The Turbosound IP1000 has greater punch and is more full range. There is more texture throughout all frequencies. It is a value leader. The App is very useful too offering greater flexibility. I have not tried the Maui, but I am very happy with these options.
Gary Roberts turbo sound are a copy of the ld systems Maui. The Maui 11 g2 uses 3 small speakers for its sub for long throw bass plus the column speakers are 3 inch over 2.75. The Bose L1 is closer to the Maui 28 or the Turbosound ip2000. We use an original Maui 28 not the g2 and it’s brilliant every disco someone always wants to know about it. So for guests to ask about the sound system means it must be very good
Prob best equipment review I’ve seen on ytube so cheers for that👍🏻 I was set on buying a turbosound then i saw the db technologies es502 which can be set up as stereo.Have you ever tried the db gear? I like the turbosound sound and there isnt much reviews online for db gear.Im a solo artist doing acoustic mellow stuff so clarity and warmth is more important than power.Looking for a nice sound to compliment my taylor guitar n vocals Nice set up btw Cheers
Hey you guys I'm looking to get one of these speakers I was wanting to get the Bose s1 pro but now I don't know should I try to get the turbosound 1000 or something else? The turbosound is around the same price.
Hi Bo, The Bose S1 Pro is super portable and runs on battery power if that matters to you? I always use a pedal board so I need power either way. The Turbosound IP1000 offers a LOT of performance, features and sound for the money and I feel it is a bit 'fuller' and represents all frequency ranges of my acoustic guitar better than the Bose. But alone, both are splendid. The Turbo sound sub/bass module is however the biggest and heaviest. I mostly just lift it in and out of my SUV ..and roll into some venues. Not a big deal.
Neither the Turbosound or Bose have any effects. If you are hearing any, I have a reverb pedal on my board and a TC Helicon Harmony singer which also has reverb (for vocals).
Both have proven themselves very gig worthy. As long as i can stand far enough to the side or away from the Turbosound, I am happy. It may offer more complete frequency range, filling in some sonic blanks in the midrange that is missing from the Bose L1 Compact. If I am standing close or right in front of the speaker, the Bose wins by a landslide.
@@gair1944 I use the Bose solo/duet etc..our band now uses two compacts behind us all you need ..no more monitors etc..running a Yamaha 12 channel with FX ..we had a guitar player bring in a turbo 1000 it was great until we turned it up to fit our sound feed back crazy on Mics..Bose is the way
The Bose S1 Pro is decent for super small, quite venues. The Bose L1 Compant (L1C) (in my opinion) is richer, fuller, disperses better and is a big step up from the S1 Pro. The S1 Pro however includes reverb and will run on battery power. Neither of those are huge reasons for me to have a S1 Pro. I also like the monitoring I hear with the L1C (or Turbosound) being at head level when I am standing. I hear them better and have a good sense of what the audience is hearing also since the Bose L1 Compact dispersion is very even.
The answer really depends on where I am performing. If I am standing right in front of it, just a few feet away, I prefer the Bose. It sounds better to me up close and is less feedback prone. The Turbosound has mid range drivers in the middle of the vertical pole and a single tweeter. So it can be a bit too loud up close. but if I can set up off the side, I think the Turbosound may actually be more balanced across all frequency ranges and the 3 band EQ can be adjusted from my iPhone. That is a very nice feature. Once I get it set however, I leave it alone. Does that help?
Gary thanks for the video. Well done. They both sound great and I would be happy with either one. Would the Turbosound fill a larger room than the Bose?
John Dolce I think the turbosound is I bit punchier thru all frequencies. The Bose might have a slight midrange scoop that makes it sound so natural. I enjoy playing through the Bose a bit more but the turbosound does punch the sound out more forward. That can be overwhelming for the front tables if I am up close however. The venue and location of audience dictates which i choose to use. I did a corporate show last night and was far away from guests on the lawn as they were dining. The turbosound was ideal for that application
I love both. The Turbosound is more full range and the iPhone App makes it very user friendly. But when I have a very small, tight area to play, I prefer the Bose up close. But overall, I have come to prefer the Turbosound IP1000 because it is not as mid scooped and it offers tone shaping for the guitar channel. FYI - Turbosound recently announced the IP1000 V2. It includes reverb. Not sure what other differences there are but that is a nice feature to have.
Great vid bro! Something to consider for anyone making this choice: To my ears finger-picking sounded much nicer with the Bose - as you mentioned is has that "airy, spatial" sound that has a nice, sitting by a waterfall, ambient vibe. But when you played with more attack - which is more my style - the Turbosound was the choice for me. Perhaps it's because of the "blank spots" in the Bose you referred to. In fact, I picked the Fishman SA220 over the Compact for that reason a couple of years back. That said, I'm now looking to replace the 220 bc I need more bass. Sounds great for my strumming style EXCEPT, I also use a looper and beat out rhythms on the guitar (a la KD Tunstall). Sometimes have a Cajon player. Have you done any of that with the TS 1000? If so how does it sound? It needs some thump (to a degree - i'm not a house DJ!) without sounding muddy or boomy. Just need some punch in that freq range bc the SA220 ain't cuttin' it. Thx again for a great A/B demo!
Hi Tim, the pair of 8” drivers in the turbosound IP1000 will definitely give you the thump you want. I agree the TS fills in more sonic spaces. I am always pleased with the Bose L1Compact at gigs but I am also more acutely aware of the mid scoop and a somewhat thin and sizzle treble. It can be tamed and is quite musical. Pairing the two systems together is kind of cool but overkill and more stuff than I want to carry to my gigs.
For the guitar player who wants a fool proof system, Bose is perfect. But if the guitar player is willing and able to use and set a small mixing console and wants backing tracks in stereo, a MAUI 5 twin set could be better.
Bose has a better guitar DSP, that makes the sound great. The smaller MAUI 5 has a treble boost, with this you can turn the sound into a more Bose like. I guess, the new MAUI 11 will have this feature too.
Darren Turner yes I think a pair would work. But especially more capable of you use an external mixer. Thatnsaid the turbosound IP2000 would be better for rock bands because of bigger subs and more drivers in the line array towers. If you really need the subs to punch deep kick drum get the bigger IP2000. But I still think a pair of these would make a nice form factor without being too large or heavy
Bose sounds amazing
Thanks for stopping by. I have since upgraded from the Bose L1 Compact to the Bose L1 Pro 8's. Even better.

You made both sound 👍 great, love it.
Thank you
This is just my opinion.
The ability of a system to accurately reproduce the sound of the instrument is the goal. In other words it wouldn’t be possible to distinguish the instrument itself versus the sound reproduced from the system.
I miss a comparsion like this between Bose L1 compact and LD Systems MAUI 5
I have the Maui 5 but it’s just not loud enough for my acoustic duo. Ehh always feedback issues. Most places we play are decent size restaurants and bars. Considering the Bose or turbo. We need to be much louder
Guitar sounds great!
Do you feel the turbosound would work better than a powered speaker and a small mixer? Looking for small to medium sized gig 50-75 people.
Hi Scott, it’s very good and may have better projection. But for 50-75 people it’s probably a toss up. A mixer will have effects which my older turbosound lacks. But o think the current IP1000 v2 has reverb. I like the simplicity and not carrying a speaker stand.
Thank you for the quick response.
Both sounds awsum for the price of the TURBOSOUND you can’t beat it awsum job on the guitar love the sound it makes Aloha Gary
Alfred McShane thank you sir!
I’d like to hear this same stuff with vocals??
The faster you can plug or unplug the better. But I also prefer using the Mute switch on the pedal board tuner when I am plugged in via pedal board.
Someone already mentioned that although some may think the Bose is better, I don't know if at the price points of the two, the Bose is very expensive. Turbo is what I think I would buy.
Really enjoyed your review. What is the piece you're playing?
Thanks. At one point, I was playing "A Love Song" by Kenny Loggins.
Thanks.
Based on everything you shared, I would say the turbosound is where I would start
@@gair1944 Thank you, Gary, I really appreciate your answer. I'll try to find a dealer nearby who might have it on display to try.
I find the turbosound a bit dirty on mids while the bose has sweeter mids
wow
Thank you. I hope it was helpful.
The bose is twice the price but is NOT twice as good making IMHO Turbo Sound the clear winner. You could buy 2 turbo sounds and run stereo for the same price and that would crush the bose
My band uses a pair of Turbo Sound IP1000's. They work great
@@gair1944 i have a 5 pc classic rock band. would they work for that? would it eliminate the need for monitors?
Very nice playing Gary - and with a flat pick too! Were I to play something similar it would be with a fist full of finger picks. It's been awhile since I had that kind of control picking string to string with a flat pick. I preferred the Turbosound slightly and appreciate you demoing it side by side with the Bose. If ever I were to gig again, I'd be looking at a system like that as it's tiresome packing my old Carvin Stagemate S400D system in and out of venues - which near the end always came with a flight of stairs! ;^)
I am a wanna be fingerpicker. So I learned how to cross
Pick instead. Thank you for the kind words
Awesome guitar work ! Both systems are nice. However leaning towards the Turbosound .
A bose entrega um som mais real é nítido 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I thought that just for acoustic guitar the Bose L1 is fine. The. Bose is detailed but is lacking low mid weight. The Turbo Sound in this setting seems warmer with more mids (which may not be as appealing to the ear on just AC guitar) . I’m looking at a compact system now for AC guitar and vocals. I’m leaning towards the Turbo Sound because it does have enough low mids and lows to keep the vocals punchy without being too thin. Do you sing through these systems too? If so how do the vocals stack up?
Yes I sing through the systems and both are excellent. My Band has started using a pair of TurboSound IP1000's.h They sound great!
My god... Nice play... Cool... Ha...love it
Dilki, thank you!
Will soon be in need of another unit.
love the Martin
Very nice bro and you are awesome guitarist . In my opinion the L1 is better bcz of quality sounds.
Thank you. It is a privilege to offer a useful comparison
Good review! Well done
Thx Bro
The acoustic sounds great and natural unlike the old piezo systems of the past. Great video and Playing!
Thanks Bob. When pushed, I can still get a bit of piezo quack, but these are very forgiving and musical. and very user friendly.
Eric Alabiso q
Performed with the Bose L1 for the last two + years. It was missing the punch I like. The Turbo has more grit. I feel it boils down to your style of playing. The TS is worth a shot.
Hello Gary,Great video what looper do you have? Im in the market for a P.A. System and looper ....Glenn in N.Y.
Hi Glenn, thank you! I use the Electro Harmonix 720 Stereo Looper. Easy to use, cost friendly, has 10 storage banks and sounds very natural. Highly recommended. I just bought a third one for another pedal board.
9:30 (turbo) vs 10:40 (bose) is probs the best comparison. Thanks for this video :). Could the iP1000 handle a stomp box for about 100 people?
@@gair1944 My current EV is just a full range point source box so hoping
with the iP100's 2x dedicated 8" subs on the ground it'll have more guts to it. Definitely disperse nicer and have better 3D characteristics id say. Guess ill have to test one out. Thanks again!
Have you tried the EV Evolve 30M or 50M?
Yes I owned an EV Evolve 50 for a couple years. It is absolutely superb. Perhaps better then either of these with the exception of the much larger subwoofer/bass module. I was disappointed in the App being more limited for tonal shaping than the Turbosound. That surprised me. The app may have evolved since I sold my EV 50 last year. It really is very nice, but way overkill for 90% of my shows. - PS: The Evolve 30 is probably a better size/fit. I may try one at some point, but the Bose is just so easy to work with. I do wish it had reverb. Oh well.
Gary Roberts Yeah I wish they added the reverb too. I don’t want to go buying pedals. I’m not into pedals anymore.
Bryan Keller what’s the continuous wattage of both? My Maui 5 is just not cutting it for my acoustic duo
Does the L1 have a DPS chip inside?
So for guests to ask about the sound system means it must be very good
I have played at tons of places with my Turbosound system and it was great in small venues, large venues, and even medium sized venues too.
Nice playing Beautiful chord progression. But would have been nice to get your own personal preference if you had to choose one over the other.
bose = clean and clear sound
I really like the Bose however either would do.
Prob best equipment review I’ve seen on ytube so cheers for that👍🏻
I was set on buying a turbosound then i saw the db technologies es502 which can be set up as stereo.Have you ever tried the db gear? I like the turbosound sound and there isnt much reviews online for db gear.Im a solo artist doing acoustic mellow stuff so clarity and warmth is more important than power.Looking for a nice sound to compliment my taylor guitar n vocals
Nice set up btw
Cheers
I am not familiar with the dB hear you mentioned. The Bose has proven itself in ease of use and portability for me, year after year.
@@gair1944 does the turbo sound have any vocal effects at all? Like reverb of any kind? The guitar sounds great through it.
Neither the Turbosound or Bose have any effects. If you are hearing any, I have a reverb pedal on my board and a TC Helicon Harmony singer which also has reverb (for vocals).
The L1 sound good but the ip1000 is not bad at all. But for me as an overall speaker the Turbo is more versatile.
@@gair1944 I use the Bose solo/duet etc..our band now uses two compacts behind us all you need ..no more monitors etc..running a Yamaha 12 channel with FX ..we had a guitar player bring in a turbo 1000 it was great until we turned it up to fit our sound feed back crazy on Mics..Bose is the way
Do you know if the Bose s1 pro is as good as either one of these?
The Bose S1 Pro is decent for super small, quite venues. The Bose L1 Compant (L1C) (in my opinion) is richer, fuller, disperses better and is a big step up from the S1 Pro. The S1 Pro however includes reverb and will run on battery power. Neither of those are huge reasons for me to have a S1 Pro. I also like the monitoring I hear with the L1C (or Turbosound) being at head level when I am standing. I hear them better and have a good sense of what the audience is hearing also since the Bose L1 Compact dispersion is very even.
Gary which do you prefer ??? I would like your opinion, thank you.
I think the two systems aim to respond to the full range of audible frequencies. So playing a guitar is not the best way to compare.
Which did you prefer?
I love both. The Turbosound is more full range and the iPhone App makes it very user friendly. But when I have a very small, tight area to play, I prefer the Bose up close. But overall, I have come to prefer the Turbosound IP1000 because it is not as mid scooped and it offers tone shaping for the guitar channel. FYI - Turbosound recently announced the IP1000 V2. It includes reverb. Not sure what other differences there are but that is a nice feature to have.
@@gair1944 thank you. I just ordered the v2. Looking forward to getting it.
@@mikepalma3341 did you get the v2? What do you think
@@ScottNickellMusic love it! Sound is incredible.
Great vid bro! Something to consider for anyone making this choice:
To my ears finger-picking sounded much nicer with the Bose - as you mentioned is has that "airy, spatial" sound that has a nice, sitting by a waterfall, ambient vibe.
Super pour cette demo merci beaucoup..
My pleasure
This isn’t a fair comparison the Bose is 10 years old and the Turbosound 1.
Lol at 4:28 his face expression change.
The Dog at 5:14!!! xD
i love bose but turbosound is amazing too
Thanks.
very helpul, thank you.
Try fbt vertus cs-1000
only Bose !
For the guitar player who wants a fool proof system, Bose is perfect. But if the guitar player is willing and able to use and set a small mixing console and wants backing tracks in stereo, a MAUI 5 twin set could be better.
No, not only Bose. That's kinda the point...
👍
Bose Sounds Awesome but can meet the Price of a Bose, in Which the Turbo is very low in price.
agreed. The Turbosound is price a little better than the Bose L1C. $200 difference roughly.
Bose seems more natural. Easy on the ear too.
Bose has a better guitar DSP, that makes the sound great. The smaller MAUI 5 has a treble boost, with this you can turn the sound into a more Bose like. I guess, the new MAUI 11 will have this feature too.
@@robfriedrich2822 This is not a Maui. It's a Turbosound.
So frustrating when someone posts a video like this then doesn't answer anyone's questions :/
Just saw this and replied to a couple questions I missed. Can I answer anything for you that would be helpful?
Gary Roberts thank you Gary, I'm just wondering if a pair of these would be powerful enough for a rock band.
Turbosound wins in my opinion.
Bose is overpriced but quality built. Turbo sound is inexpensive and can get the job done.
Thanks, I would prefer the Bose It is much better to sing with. as the Turbo Sound is far to punchy and not not very smooth
Absolutely agree!
Bose has the Spatial dispersion Technologies..Turbosound doesnt, wich.is a plus for Bose
You are wrong Ángel, Turbosound has the spatial sound expansion or whatever It is called
Thank you Gary. Does Turbosound ip1000 have Reverb?
That Martin Sounds very nice, by the way!
Bose sound better!!
Turbosound is clear
