I'm almost giving up on my JK.. Lost any hopes. So if you can help, I would greatly appreciate. My jeep on stationary, with engine on doesn't turn right. The wheel is so stiff that I need a bodybuilder to help me to turn right. Turning left, works like a charm. Now the weird, paranormal part. I've changed the followings: New drag link teraflex New tie rod teraflex New ball joints teraflex New steering pump OEM Mopar New steering box OEM Mopar. New ATF 4+ Fluid OEM mopar Tires are 33 inch, checked as well, even pressure. Still same issue, can't turn right while stationary. When I roll few inches, I can turn normal. What I didn't changed - track bar but verified it, no issues Driveshafts - but checked and no signs of wear. Steering shaft (column)
@@MegaDakalo you need to double check everything. Make sure there is no binding anywhere. Have someone else turn the wheel while you look under the jeep.
That is the biggest pile of bad luck I think I’ve ever seen. How the hell did all 4 Synergy ends blow up on you in 10k? The one thing I would add to the list is what to do first if you think your having steering issues. Torque. Everything. An extra 1/4 turn out of each bolt on my tie rod, and drag link got rid of a lot of the slop my JT developed in 45k miles.
I agree 100% it was def bad luck. Especially the pitman arm coming loose. 🤦🏼♂️ I think the larger tires have a lot to do with it. Even with our new fusion 4x4 parts the boots on the drag link are already torn. Its only been anout 2 months. Not to mention i just bent the pitman arm yesterday on our wheeler lake trail trip.
Very good content. Honest and straightforward.
Thanks so much! We are trying to keep it easy, fun and to the point! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great video dude. I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out why my steering binds up like it's in 4h when I turn. It's making me crazy.
Awesome man im glad we could help!
You answered my question. I need a new drag link.
