This was in Las Vegas at the Orleans hotel. The brothers were performing there that weekend and Donny and Marie were performing at the Flamingo. But Donny showed up, unexpectedly, at the brothers' meet-and-greet at the Orleans September 2008. They were awesome at the meet-and-greet!
i love the way Merrill says "this is repeat and again our hero right here" i think they were very moved to have their brother surprise them.I wonder where Alan was that day if he was there aswell it would have been a very special moment

That was nice of Donny to surprise his brothers! Donny looks fabulous! I love seeing them all together. I feel so bad that Merrill isn't feeling well..he said he got food poisoning and I can hear it in his voice. I became a fan in 1971 when Donny😍 was part of the 5 Osmond brothers..time of Osmania! Of course when Donny and Marie became popular as a duo, Donny slowly broke away from being in the Osmond brothers group😞 God bless Jimmy for making it possible that the older brothers perform and performing with them especially since poor Alan can no longer perform. I must admit I really miss Donny being a steady in the group. I love them all! I am so happy that they are still performing after 5 decades! God bless them❤️🙏
I just looked and he is like 4 years older. For people who are "their age" do he and wayne always seem older in their personalities and donny/jay are the "kidders" at heart. I do see Wayne act like a kidder too. maybe it is just alan wayne and merrill forever being the "older" kids so they are the adult part in reality.
I just meant that you could maybe account for his being older for looking rougher (don't know maybe he has just had problems) I always thought from pictures from currently that him and alan always look older--maybe it is the hair.

I can understand what you mean. I've been a fan of the Osmonds since 1971..As the Osmond brothers aged Donny seemed to be the only one who continued to look young for his age. He does take care of himself..he eats healthy and he certainly gets lots of exercise doing his show with Marie in Vegas 5 days/week.

I think the brothers look amazing after 50+ years in showbiz. They were all cute as teenagers but handsome as all get out as adults. I've been a fan (even when it wasn't cool) for over 50 yrs!
It is not just the hair color but how they act on stage merrill and wayne seem so much older. I always think of merrill as so much older but OMG he really isn't (than Donny I should say) He is really not five years older in real life isn't he?
There has been some bad blood between Merrill and Donny over the years. Donny left the act for a career with Marie and the brothers' careers faltered after that. The overwhelming crush of fans that ONLY wanted "Donny" perhaps caused a little jealousy among the other brothers who has been huge stars on The Andy Williams Show before Donny joined. They have been trying to heal their relationship but I believe it is probably still strained even after all these years!
In this clip, Merrill's hair is, almost, completely white. What I would like to know is, once everyone's children were full-grown and married and had children of their own, has Merrill ever played Santa Claus for them?
