Based on the info in this video, I chose an Yonex Arcsaber 7 Play to replace my trusty Victor MX JJS when it finally died. Took some time to get accustomed to the Play even with my preferred string BG66UM. But with a grip closer to the end and looser finger hold, as you suggest, I quite like the playing results now. Thanks CK Yew, you're doing good things on RUclips!
Hey, I am also looking for a replacement for my trusty Victor MX60 4U. Assume the MX60 is just slightly flexier than the JJS with the same head heaviness. How do u feel about the flex and the head heaviness between the AS7 play and your JJS?
After spending carefully the amount of time and consideration given to the Arcsaber 7 pro series, I have chosen Arcsaber 7 Play as my go-to option. Definitely budget-friendly! Thanks for your video! 🔥
I have the Pro & like it so much I bought the Play. 7 Play. Wow! I was able to play a fast paced game with confidence. Over head smashes were sufficient enough to be able to repeatedly attack an opponent. It excelled more on power drives. Control on it was amazing considering the price.
I am getting the tour model as a mid range version, surprised it was released in Australia since there was only AS11 play and pro. I was going to get the auraspeed 100x but i do prefer the medium flex
@@CKYew My friend is upset I beat him in MD with hard drives & smashes with the Play. 🤣 "Why you get Play; at least get the Pro." He forgot I beat him with Pro last time. 😁 Yes, Arcsaber 7 Play outplayed Astrox 88S Pro. Actually, it is not the racket; it is the players' skill set.
@@jiminy2731 I also prefer medium flex. Played with Astrox 100 Game for a few months. Smash is more powerful than Arcsaber 7 Pro & Play (Hi-Flex) but swing speed is noticeably slower on defense shots. 100 Game sweet spot is smaller & head heavy.
Definately gonna get the ArcSaber 7 tour with the Exbolt 65 on my next season. Thanks CK, to help me choose the right one for me with your detailed video. Support from INDIA 🌟
Been waiting for this 👍 Thanks again CK Yee for such detailed reviews 👌 Your reviews have helped casual players like me save hundreds of bucks getting rackets that fit my skill level 😂 after all, I can't tell the difference between Pro rackets and lower tiered ones 😂
I've just bought the arc saber 7 play in Thailand, great price £37 , just watched the review and realised I've made a wise choice, thanks for the video, great help 👍
Very well done CK. I always use head heavy racket but am changing to even balance one since i had difficult time defending. Planning to buy 11 play & 7 play to test them out. Hope i can review both racket soon on my channel.
i did got both Arc 7 and 11 Play, since CK's review really interest me in both. Since both is affordable, I interchange it for a different feel game to game. But if its just one. Arc 11 would be my choice, offering above average feel in each category, especially drop / net / slicing shots. This got me really itchy for ARc 11 Pro
I own the Arcsaber 7 Tour and Arcsaber 7 play, both strung with BG66Br at 27lbs. The Play frame has a tiny flex, which is still okay but I wont be stringing it any higher than 27lbs. Honestly, both racket feel very similar. The biggest different I would say is that the Tour has slightly stiffer shaft, which makes it a bit more consistent, especially during net play and tight drop shot. Power wise, arguably the same (definitely not these rackets plus point). but hey, these racket is rapid!
Bro I got play tour and pro. Here is my opinion If you wanna buy Play and Tour both of them perform almost the same but tour shaft is more satisfying. I don’t think play and tour perform well in term of control. Pro is really a control racket feels so good when shuttle hit the string. all of them are easy to use
Hey CK Yew, thank you for your effort doing these reviews! I have been a fan for a while! Do you have any plans doing a Pro / Tour / Play comparison for the Astrox 77? :) Wish you a great start into the April. I am looking forward for your next review ;)

I'm still playing with my old Arc7 (3U5) which I bought since its debut year. It still does the job well. Curious how much the 2022 version differs from the OG.
I just bought a 7 play cause I am curious to try a new racket other than the head-light (nanoflare 370 speed) that I used to play. I know I don’t like head heavy racket so I went for Arcsaber. I played with it for the first time yesterday and I have to say that I still need to adapt because I need to generate more power for defense or lob. Let’s see how it goes time after time
Another great review...I hope Yonex will not be too unhappy since now more will get the Play over the Pro after watching your review since performance wise it is very close..😂😂😂
My guess is that they generally sell more pro models. But if you are on a budget, Yonex seems to offer almost the same performance for a lot less money - nice move.
Hi Ck- just wondering but do know why some rackets have the names "Feel," "Star," "Ability," or "Clear?" I'm an intermediate player and I used to play with a racket called the "Nanoflare 001 Feel." But this racket also comes in a "Star" and "Ability" variant. Currently, I play with a racket called the "Astrox 01 Star" but it has a sibling called the "Astrox 01 Feel." Do you know what are the differences between the rackets and their names? My friends and I have been trying to figure out what the differences are but we can't seem to find them
Thanks for this review. However, I am seeing Arcsaber 71 and 73 with string tension of up to 30lbs in Google search...but currently can't see them in Yonex website. Are these just imitations? Or are they the latest?
I have tried the 7pro version in a game and I love it. And I think it will replace my nanoflare700. Very similar feeling but the smash is not hard enough I think, compare to NF700. Placement is very good though, easy to use.
How come? Isn’t 7pro is more head heavier than Nanoflare 700? Did you change the string and tension or just overall 7pro give you a different feeling when smashing?
@@fragrantsnow1495 I don't think 7pro is more head heavy compare to NF700. I think NF700 feel like head lighter because it swing faster. Tension and string are same, probably I feel the smash is not great because of the elasticity/flexible of the frame or shaft of 7pro compare to nf700 which is more rigid. To my experience, different racket needs different handling or technique. Maybe if I use it more often, it can potentially make smash harder.IMHO, I stated my early conclusion because I used to play with NF700 not 7 pro.
Hi, do you prefer the arcsaber 7 play or the 11 play? Do you have any other good racket recommendations for prices below Rp.1000.000 (60 GBP)? I don't really like head heavy and stiff rackets.
Hi, I am planning on buying a new racket. I have been playing with Voltric 5 for the past 5 years. Trying to decide which racket to buy. I'm an intermediate player with my play involving a lot of smashes. Would the Arcsaber 7 play be a good option? If not, can you suggest a better one? Unfortunately I don't have an option of trying out the rackets and hence the question.
Thanks for the detailed review . I have been using Arcsaber lite 10i since 3 years now and I can't decide between Astrox 88s play and arcsaber 7 play. I prefer a balanced racket to defend and control rallies more in Doubles . I have already tried arcsaber 11 play which felt slightly heavier than my current racket . Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I've been using the li-ing windstorm 74 until recently but due to an doubles accident the racket was damaged. I am looking for a replacement and was wondering if you would recommend the Arcsaber 7 pro as a replacement and also whether you can confirm it's suitable for both singles and doubles?
I came from a lining windstorm 72 to an AS7pro. you generally will feel a difference in weight going from windstorm to as7pro. easy to get used to after 1-2 games. control and speed wise at front and mid court is phenomenal. if your reaction and technique is fast, it complements it. smashes and back of court clears really improved for me, i finally could feel addition power in it. of course, not as intense as head heavy rackets like astroxes, but the swing speed is fast and it’s mid flex shaft really assisted in power. felt really good playing with the as7pro as it’s really forgiving too.
How would you compare arcsaber pro 7 to nanoflare 700? I am planning to purchase pro 7 for the replacement of 700. I am also curious about the durability of pro 7.
Hello CK, thanks for the awesome review and comparison. I am looking for a replacement racquet for my Victor MX60 4U which Victor had stop production for it. From spec wise the AS7 look really close to it. Would you recommend the AS7 or there are alternative closer to MX60 4u?
Hi CK Yew, I need some advice from you. I am intermediate player with some proper and inproper techniques (mostly backhand) when playing badminton. I have been using astrox smash previously as it was been the entry level racket from yonex for beginners. Currently, I have changed to apacs asgardia lite which have head heavy for more power but still maintain the lightweight racket as a whole. However I am thinking to have a better high end rackets for me to improve. I have short/small built body with placement, control and some smashes playstyle when at the backcourt. What would you recommend? Is it Arcsaber 11 pro or the Arcsaber 7 pro? Or is it even better to consider the Play version of the two? Edited : Also Happy New Year to you and hope your channel continues to grow and provide the best content in regards to badminton !
Both would work well. If you have the budget, go for the pro. Otherwise the play is fine and you can spend resource on coaching and training which will be better for your game in the long term. Happy new year to you too!!!
@@CKYew I see ! Thanks for responding despite New Year celebrations now ! Just need additional decisive advice from you. What would you recommend between the two though? Arcsaber 7 pro or Arcsaber 11 pro. I am indecisive now. Even now considering the 88S Pro part of the list now T_T
I have shoulder pain , but I am good at smashes. Mostly aggressive style of play . 80 percent i play doubles. suggest a bat which is gr8 for smashes and clearing 3rd line effortlessly without straining my shoulder much. And also the string & tension for the same ? Possible suggest 2 racquets one in mid range budget and other in high end budget.
Hi CK . I watch your review video on Yonex Astrox 99 Play and video for Yonex Arcsaber 7 Play. Can you please give your opinion which one you prefer? Because after I watch this Arcsaber 7. I don’t know which one I should buy. Thank you

thinking between 4 racket which is arc 7 play, arc 7 tour, arc 11 play and arc 11 tour. Want to find a more smash racket and high cost-effective racket
It’s not stiffer but certainly very noticeable difference. The Pro shaft feels more pliable and more control and responsive. Whilst the tour shaft still feels good, just not as responsive as the Pro
hi ck yew, so i was wondering, what would you reccommend for me to do when trying to find a new raquet? i started badminton about a year ago and pretty decent, and its my first time researching about racquets, so im not too sure on what to look for in a racquet that fits my taste such as grip, and etc. can you reccommend things i could do to widen my variety and allow me to fully have knowledge on what i want?
Hi CK, I had a question, I usually play at a high tension os 30×32, however most top end rackets have a max tension of 26-29, I want to switch but I am scared that it'll break sooner than it should, I was planning on shifting to duora 10 or astrox 100 series, however both of them are expensive and I won't be able to afford them as easily, however I do like my higher tension, any suggestions or explanations??
Nice review again! Probably why the Pro version feels so close with the Play is due to the medium shaft stiffness? Those higher grade racquet like the arc11pro usually comes with high stiffness which is usually harder to replicate with the lower end play models.
i really like the Arcsaber11 pro when i handle it at a local shop, but it's a bit expensive for me. When i try the Play its a bit head heavy for me and i coun't find the Tour where i live. How about the 11 pro vs arcsaber 7 tour as 7 tour is a bit more affordable. do you suggest the saber 7 tour if i like the 11 pro??
Heyy CK, i would like to know.. do you usually pre stretch your strings for your rackets?? In the racket reviews and as well as your personal game rackets?
Planning to get Yonex arcsaber 7 tour i am looking for light weight head racket i feel Yonex arcsaber 11 tour bit heavier for me what's your suggestion i am a all rounder player and suggest some strings for control player thank you so much

Hi CK, may I ask how's the Arcsaber 7 pro smash performance compare to Astrox head lighter 88D Game?
Its all down to technique and timing 💪👍
@@CKYew Thank you bro 🙏
Nice review 👍. For me an obvious question arises. Can you compare the Arcsaber 7 pro to the Nanoflare 700 4u ?
I would go with the 7 Pro but thats me 😂
@@CKYew ok, thanks for your answer. I’ll wait till i have the Arcsaber 7 pro in my hand to compare.
👍🏼
Which one has the most flexible shaft?
Thank you
They’re all good. It’s down to what you prefer.
@@CKYew Thank you CK. Really appriciate it
Yonex Arcsaber Pro with Aerobite Boost at 27lb for a average player?
Can you suggest me a high fex badminton raket of any brand under this range
Hey CK I'm trying to start recording my badminton games but unsure of where to put my stand and phone around the court? Pls suggest, I'm a righty btw :)
Anywhere would be fine as long as you can see the whole court, good luck!
Nice review! How does the arc 7 play compare to the arc 11 play?
Both are really good. the 7 Play would be faster as its head lighter!
@@CKYew ahh I see
Hi sir
I bought Yonex arcsaber 7 play
Can I string it with 28 to 30 lbs
Won't it break the frame?
As the required tension is 27
thinking between 4 racket which is arc 7 play, arc 7 tour, arc 11 play and arc 11 tour. Want to find a more smash racket and high cost-effective racket
Go straight for the Plays and maybe you can even get 2 plays for one of Tour 😬😂
hi CK, is the tour shaft less stiff than the pro or did you feel no difference ? tx !
Check out one of my older videos on how to pick the right racket for yourself here: ruclips.net/video/S0J7oPz4vWo/видео.html
CK what would you recommend arcsaber 7 play or 11 play which is better?
Both are great, its entirely up to what you're looking for
Which one worth the price the best? 7 tour or pro?
They’re all good in their own price bracket
So.... What should I buy? The Play series or the Pro series. Im currently using Victor TKF Enchanced Edition. Should I go for the Pro model CK?
If you have the budget, go for the Pro
Please review Mizuno racquets too... Thank You!
I would really appreciate if you could do a comparison vedio on 88d pro and 100zz and also which is suitable for what type of player ?
Check out my "best power racket" video.
Yes... For astrox 100zz you can keep up to 32 lbs.. It won't break
The high end rackets will happily take 30x32 if they're strung well. You will however, void all warranties you have at those tensions.
@@CKYew Thank you for the information CK, Love your content, keep making it... You Rock
Nice review again! Probably why the Pro version feels so close with the Play is due to the medium shaft stiffness? Those higher grade racquet like the arc11pro usually comes with high stiffness which is usually harder to replicate with the lower end play models.
Could be
i really like the Arcsaber11 pro when i handle it at a local shop, but it's a bit expensive for me. When i try the Play its a bit head heavy for me and i coun't find the Tour where i live. How about the 11 pro vs arcsaber 7 tour as 7 tour is a bit more affordable. do you suggest the saber 7 tour if i like the 11 pro??
the 7 Tour is similar to the 7 Pro, not the 11 Pro
Thanks which one to pick between 11 pro and 7 pro for double playing? Thanks
Both are great, its up to what you prefer
Have a perfect day. :) What about balance point in 7 play? The 11 play has a head heavy balance (BP 320 mm). Thank you.
the 7 is head lighter than the 11
CK, do you have any recommendations for lining rackets under RM 400?
Ooo thats a very tough question. I"ve not tried any of Li Ning's mid range stuff yet so i cant recommend any at the moment
@@CKYew alright thanks
Heyy CK, i would like to know.. do you usually pre stretch your strings for your rackets?? In the racket reviews and as well as your personal game rackets?
I string them all the same. 27 by 29, aerobite and 10% prestretch. Always the same
How would you rank these brands base off there rackets ONLY.
Li Ning
Mizuno
Yonex
Victor
They all make great rackets!

Please review astrox 77 pro, tour, and play 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
curious about comparisonwith as88s
Which do you prefer arcsaber 11 play or arcsaber 7 play
Both are great! Its up to you!
Planning to get Yonex arcsaber 7 tour i am looking for light weight head racket i feel Yonex arcsaber 11 tour bit heavier for me what's your suggestion i am a all rounder player and suggest some strings for control player thank you so much
7 sounds good if 11 feels too head heavy for you
