I am Irish and I just discovered your channel, having lived in Manchester U.K. 23 years (and 30 years in supermarket retailing, in both Ireland and the U.K.) - I still have extended family in my native Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath and I try to come home to visit them as often as I can - I’m often amazed at the changes that I see every time I come home to Ireland, including when visiting friends around the Greater Dublin Area - since my last visit home in October 2022, Dunshaughlin Village has both a Lidl and an Aldi store and with all of the new estates in recent years, it has almost become a town, yet it still retains a certain element of its rural origins - at age 53 now, when I grew up in Dunshaughlin in the 1970’s & 1980’s we had at least 3 working farms on the Main Street and we had lots of pubs in the area - hopefully in the next few years, we will see the M3 Parkway railway line being extended to Navan with a station close to Dunshaughlin 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️❤️❤️
