- In January 1992 Simply Red set off on a massive world tour. They had just released their 4th album “Stars.” The tour lasted 14 months, taking in 131 shows to 1.5 million people. This extraordinary film captures Simply Red in concert in Hamburg, performing "Something Got Me Started".

Im 37. I was just a kid when this was being played. I did not notice this song too much. As I grew older I liked this song more and more. Today after a shitty day at work, I got into my car, turned the radio on (which I never do, because I prefer my Pink Floyd - Division Bell album), heard this and "BOOOOOM", I was instantly feeling good. Turned the volume up, and just drove, singing and dancing haha :) This will get even better 10 years from now :)
Similar thing happened to me just yesterday :) I absolutely love to re-discover such classics that were always around and realize how really GOOD they are (the bass is killing it).
He is the best and so is the band. Love his energy and his beautiful hair!
