Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm a 25-year-old TV news reporter. I'm originally from Long Island, NY but I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where I work for the CBS affiliate, Local 12. Livin' the dream. :)

Yeah, I get down and dirty and help with the move (I'm female, too, lol, I'm a helper).
I mean at least she vlogged the move. Zac got the apartment he wanted too
She worked. She has the steps to prove it. It just looks like she didn't because she was behind the camera in the parts we did see. We didn't see what she did off camera.

Clancy being delightfully neurotic about the most benign things is what keeps me coming back to this channel.
I’m still curious why the complex didn’t foot the bill for your moving costs. They should also offer a free month of rent for the inconvenience.

I'm going to wear a mask each winter for the rest of my life. It comes in soooo handy when it's cold. I haven't had a sore throat this year! Also, they are great when cleaning really dusty areas.
Right I love having the mask during the winter it really makes a difference in the cold.
Last year was the only year I didn't get sick at all. I swear it's because of the masks!

The WORST decision I ever made in my life was deciding I would be fine to move, by just carryings my stuff over, from my old apartment to my new apartment which was about 3 blocks away. Truly HORRIFIC.

Why wouldn't the apartment complex pay for the move? It was a great workout so that was a benefit:).
The reason they had to move, though, was the crappy leaky roof... so I totally do see why maybe they should help a little bit. Maybe not fully paid but a little help makes sense to me, they inconvenienced Clancy and Zac by not fixing the roof and thus making them move. Maybe a month's free rent makes sense or half priced rent for a few months, etc.
I'm sure they could find another building, no property will pay for a move, ITS A BUSINESS

I know right! I've often wondered if Clancy was a Summer season of some type (seasonal color analysis) and that jacket makes her seem like it.

For the color coding, I think you need to move the pink beside the white so the pink/ white dress can be in between the two.

my boyfriend and I moved to Boston just ourselves and it was the worst!! i totally feel your pain (it always seems okay in the beginning and then next thing you know not even half of your apartment is moved when you feel like the whole thing should be done already). here’s to hoping for no leaky ceilings in this new place! happy for you guys 😄
I have two of those same diaries! 😆 I am 33 and have been writing since 5th grade. I’m not kidding how freaking awesome it is to journal and look back at things you’d NEVER remember otherwise. Or details about a monotonous day you’d never remember. I also put the dates like that on the front 😊

different city...Raleigh, NC. We still have seasons, but the winter weather is better and the cold season is short. It’s a great TV news market and the tech industry is hoppin. Three-ish hours to the beach in one direction or the mountains in the other! We’d love to have you as neighbors! 😁
My boyfriend lived 40 min away from Raleigh in rocky mount when he worked at a college there and when I visited I hated the vibes that place (raleigh) had.. I really don't know why lol and *especially* hated rocky mount.. im from Ohio too and I was thrown off by even the type of trees that are down south 💀 i was like, i want to go back home lol I know I'm weird
@@lizzieathey556 I first lived in RM when I moved down here from Ohio. Agreed on the vibe there - absolutely not my scene. In the past few years (at least pre-COVID) Raleigh has become a home to award winning restaurants, a healthy music scene, lots of makers and artists, and companies that support our community. I live downtown and love it. When things reopen I hope you give it another chance sometime. (And no, I don’t work for the city, nor am I a paid promoter haha!)

Yes we moved from our apartment to our townhome and hired movers. Would’ve never survived without them. Way too many heavy pieces of furniture and stairs!
Hey Clancy, I'm a silent viewer usually but I had to comment on this one. I have just finished moving today too. I was so happy your moving vlog was up because I knew you would show all the less glamorous parts. It is tiring and exhausting and it takes time for your new place to be looking all nice. I hear ya! My husband and I moved to Oregon from California we miss our family and friends but we love it here! Less expensive by far! You guys are a cute couple! Zack is a great guy always willing to do what it takes my husband is like that too!🥰

The way the shower smelled? That’s a plumbing problem. Pipes need to ventilate or that’s what happens. So IMO there is a problem with the plumbing ventilation.

We just moved and nobody had lived in our apartment for months and the water smelled like butthole. We had to run our water for like an hour to get rid of it hahaha
In 2020 (of course) I lost my apartment to a massive complex fire that displaced me and almost 200 other residents. Not going to lie though--this vlog made me grateful for moving into a new complex with nothing except the clothes on my back and the purse I grabbed on the way out from the fire 😂 I love your vlogs and you and Zach as a couple so much!!

Moving is a lot of work. I am thankful for friends to help move to a new home. I hope my next move my husband and I can hire movers. The place looks great. The family room and bedroom are set up which is a great start. I hope thd rest of the move goes well!
Yessss do the random move ! When this is what Zac craves, you must do it, at least once ! Regarding the move I feel for you Clancy. I am like you a creature of habit and a calm quiet safe space is sooo important. I did move approx. 15 times so far and it's always so stressful to have your peace and quiet disrupted ! Watching your videos reminds me so much of when we were kids. Oh the stories I could tell about the crazy things we did!! One classic was of course when we went down to the creek and I fell in 😂😂 or when you broke your thumb playing house ball with Neal and his friend. Or when Neal and his friend broke the ice at the pond house and broke a fish in half hahaha ugh we had so much crazy fun as kids!
If you guys really want to try a new city do it sooner rather than later. I am not sure how soon you want to get married and have kids, but if it is, let's just say in the next 5 years, well time flies and you're going to want to explore your new city before you have children. I am currently looking to move somewhere warmer with my hubby but I feel like things pile up that just post pone it such as job moves (I just finished my masters), having family around us which is getting bigger with births, having friends around us, money, etc. So, I always just say thay we just have to do it, because years have gone by with just talk. Plus, if you move somewhere cool you can be a vacay spot for friends and family :)

Don't get rid of your journals ever!! I had an episode, and I tossed all my journals from like grade school on up. I have one that I started before the situation happened. It's like I knew something was going to happen.

And just a little tidbit on something I picked up on 😉. And this is my opinion only but it feel in my heart to share: I know you were not serious when you said “if we break up” and it was just in fun, but it is my experience that if this is a relationship you are committed to those words should not belong in it (or divorce in marriage). If you are committed, be committed especially in the rough times and in the tough times. Just speaking from my heart because I care ❤️❤️

I leave my clothes in the drawers and take the drawers out of the furniture to move them. That way the furniture is lighter, too. Definitely hire movers the next time if you can afford it. It is so worth it. You can do all the packing even, but let the movers do the moving, especially of heavy things.

I tried moving from a different unit before in highschool. My sister, my friend, and I struggled to carry the couch...in the rain....I was lucky enough that my neighbor was kind enough to help us carry it.
