Heather Thomas, she's why i watched fall guy every week. Thanks for posting this blast from the past.
Here's some truth about Heather.in her time she is so beautiful she sometimes interferes with the show....I see her in a bikini or tight jeans straddling the arm of a coach.or they do a close up on her face and blue eyes. And literally my brain goes in a different direction than the episode .very few if any woman has that kind of charisma as Heather.If theres one perfect 10 in the 80s she is it.only complaint was she thought she could make it on her sensational beauty .she should have went to the best acting schools in LA or new York and her career would have been epic .

As a small child for me the truck was more important. But Jody was the highlight of the show.
When Heather Thomas hot the screen, my heart fluttered. All these years later, the only thing that's changed is that Colt's truck should be in my garage.
I loved this show as a kid and still love it.
Even though Colt was driving a right hand drive car briefly at around the 10 minute and 13 second pount.

There was a movie back in the 70s called "Race With The Devil" that starred Peter Fonda & Loretta Switt If you watch the chase scenes in this episode with the RV that Colt's in, you will see that these "chase scenes" were taken from that movie. I thought that first crash with the pick-up going off the side of the bridge looked familiar, but then when I saw the 2nd chase scene with the school bus on the side of the road, that was the dead giveaway. I have that movie on dvd so that's how I knew where these chase scenes came from. But I thought it was funny that they took those chase scenes from that movie & added em to the Fall Guy. Talk about a budget cut. LOL
True. Glen Larson used stock footage from the Fox film library (Race with the Devil was a Fox release) for the stunt shots on the show. Such a practice was necessary to keep each episode within budget.
greg6363 All I know is, that scene made me do a double take when I saw it. lol. I was looking for years for that movie, & I hit pay dirt when I found it. I watch it, every Halloween along with the very first (and best) Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis. And what Halloween would be complete, if Elvira Mistress Of The Dark wasn't included. She can come up with some funny 1 liners. She's a riot. As for the Fall Guy, while I liked the show N all, but IMO Markie Post was way more hotter than the blonde. Post was in an episode of Buck Rogers, & I have the complete series Hearts Afire with her & the late John Ritter. And it sucks that John died so young, cos that guy was a great talent. Funny as hell to.

Seen this 41 years ago when it aired first and I remembered it ,,I was 15 years old it involved almost every vehicle a good episode worthy of a movie .This and other shows set me dreaming of America California sunshine etc etc and just having a fuller life ...,,,then in Ireland it was raining and cold .that didn't stop dreaming !!
Love this tv series! I'm a big fan of Lee Majors, from his days as Col. Steve Austin on the Six Million Dollar Man to his Stunt Actor/Bounty Hunter Colt Seavers character on the Fall Guy!

My gosh, Cleavon Little as Max Downey was my absolute favorite guest role on this show!! He has made this episode come to be at least in my top 5 favorites!! I was rolling in laughter the ENTIRE time!! YAY! "You know, I think I'd make a heck of a stunt man! We should be a team!!" oo...note to self..call fox with an idea for a spinoff series!! LOL! ;)

That bald guy saying he has his best men on the job. He also played in a Dukes of Hazzard episode as a bad guy / crook. I think he passed away in real life a year or two ago. :( It sucks to see the people we grew up watching on TV, even if they did play as the bad guys, to pass on. Well, they're in a better place so they say..

I felt like I was watching Rush Hour 5-; I had no idea that Jackie Chan was a Chinese version of Colt Seavers- Honk Kong stuntman/Good Guy who breaks the Law while enforcing it & protecting others partnered with Chris Tucker, cracking jokes but he's screaming less and doesn't curse! SUCH FUN!!! 😂😛🤣

I like how the cars explode in mid-air after they drive off the bridge but before they hit anything. That's how you know this is a realistic view of stunts. Cleavon says "They are connected every which way including loose." John Quade, who plays the bad guy, was the biker leader in Clint Eastwood's "Every Which Way But Loose," his most famous role.
Me being an Airplane mechanic. Spoiler. Planes don't turn like a car on the street. And the gas tank are in the wings.

mrmanitoba Yeah it's a HUGE continuity error at 10:13 -10:25. One shot shows Colt steering from the right side of the car (normally the passenger seat), then the next shot he's steering from the left side of the car.

Damn that tank was a king tiger or Tiger 2 The biggest baddest cat the Germans had in ww2 that had to be a replica or conversion surly there's only 1 operational in the entire world I'm aware of these days.
I remember when the chieftain tanks were still commonly available and relatively inexpensive. No longer the case these days. I was a kid trying to talk my dad into buying one. He ended up with an m35a2 that I wish he kept.

Damn that was a real deal king tiger tank the inside view was totally fake they had a steering wheel not the 2 tiller sticks but the running tank was a real deal German ww2 king tiger 77tons weight displacement and full powered l71 88mm main gun with a mg34 coaxial machine gun in the turret and a mg34 mounted in the bow gunner position as well awesome tank like the tiger 1 and the panther tank
