This is really useful…sat in on my first trad session last night 😳so my only regret is that I didn’t have a look at your videos beforehand :-). Thanks for posting.
Thanks for this! Been learning Bouzouki over lock-down here in Dublin and this is really useful. Looking forward to hearing more about your approach in future videos. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! What a great idea to start the bouzouki series with right hand technique. Right hand is much underrated and especially a bouzouki should not be played exactly as a guitar. Otherwise you could stick to guitar. ;-).
Excellent video Matt. Thanks
Great first lesson on bouzouki!
This is really helping me! Thanks Matt!
Matt is great. SO glad this can be useful for you, Bill!
Looking forward to digging into this. Thanks Matt!

Great that you attended your first session! Welcome. Wishing you great enjoyment, no matter what your strumming approach is.

Nice stuff!
What make is your bouzuki it sounds good
Matt plays a Davy Stuart bouzouki. YES, so beautiful!
Hi Matt, thanks for the stuff. What kind of pics and whats the thick of them, both on guitar and bouzuki. Best regards
The pick I’m using on the bouzouki is a Wegen triangle shaped 1mm. On the guitar I like the Dunlap nylon .72 or .60mm)
@@MattHeatonMusicForKids Great. Thanks again
Thanks for this lesson, Matt. Quick question… who made that bouzouki?
it's a Davy Stuart bouzouki. Lovely instrument.
