Really like your content. Building automation/controls seems like one of the harder segments of the construction industry to get into as a full-time bas specialist; but I have done some of the it throughout my career as an HVACR technician and building engineer.

I don't see that on my end. Every customer I know is hiring and looking for talent. If I find someone who is semi skilled I know companies that will hire them in seconds. Too bad we aren't in the recruiting business.

I have been trying to catch up with the 400 plus podcasts from past years and its really cool that you are actively putting out new content for people like me. I work for an hvac contractor and in between drilling, cutting and taking phone calls I try to focus as much as I can on the controls basics in this series. In my local area you have to go pretty far up the ladder before you find someone who knows what bas or bacnet is- I see a lot of career potential

There is a ton of career potential. You can stay hands on or move into really complex computer work. I love this industry for the flexibility and opportunities it provides.
