Marnie. I’m speechless with this haul. Every time I watch your videos I’m amazed at how very much the same taste in fashion we have. It’s kinda great because you do the shopping and try ons and I can just click and wait for it. I don’t think there was anything i didn’t like well maybe the denim jacket with the tapered sleeve cuff. That would make me absolutely nuts and I couldn’t deal with it. No pockets and s bad enough but not able to push up sleeves makes me feel claustrophobic. I love the flowy shorts and they look wonderful on you however a warning ladies. If you take your very young kids or grandkids in the grocery store and they get cold the kids will promptly stick their head and arms up the shorts. True story this happened to me lol. I had to make an online return to Maurice’s and hands down it was the easiest return I’ve ever done! Love the haul Marnie!

Hey Marnie! I agree with you on the Jean jackets with one exception. I ordered the puff sleeve jean jacket and my perfectionist tendency came out with a vengeance because the “puffs” weren’t symmetrical. Argh. I returned it. Maybe I will give it another try. Maybe. I tend to have broader shoulders, apparently, (didn’t know that) but the shoulder puff is really not my friend. The FA cargo pants I took a chance on because a 27” inseam doesn’t really work for me. I got them in white (more of a cream, actually) and the length was perfect. A 30” inseam is my sweet spot if I’m wearing flats. I also have them in black and the inseam is definitely 27”. They are not the black pants I usually reach for, although they are perfect in every other way.
I love your videos! I NEVER shopped at Walmart until I started watching you, but I have ordered a few things recently. Some things have worked great; some not so much, but I so appreciate the recommendations. As an aside, I have to ask what is on your forehead on your left side? It looks like a swipe of gray paint, and I couldn’t stop looking at it and trying to figure it out!
Greetings from Bentonville, lol! Cute clothes! Around here, folks (professionals even!) been wearing WM chic forEVER. Gotta say, though, for me, at that price point, given enough time, I can find better quality items for the same money elsewhere. It is good to see Walmart stepping up to the level of Target, though. There is definitely a customer for this, and hopefully this time they’ll stick with it long enough to see the impact instead of bailing after one mediocre quarter.

I don’t generally wear slips unless I’m dealing with static cling. As long as you’re wearing skin tone underwear, who cares if someone can see the outline of your legs?

I love the suggestions. It’s crazy that we are already seeing Fall clothes even though I know we see every season a couple months ahead of time. Hi Marnie. I am relatively new to your channel and have gone and watched many of your older videos. Your input has made me reconsider shopping at Walmart and I am happy to know that their quality has so greatly improved over the years. Your most current video featured Walmart jeans and a slip dress, however when I went online to look at these items right after watching your video, I was disappointed that ALL of the jeans were sold out and the slip dress was almost sold out as well. Hope Walmart restocks some of the items.
I’m glad you mentioned that a lot of stores might not have everything you are showing in your videos. I worked in retail for many years and they definitely do have climate based selections of what is in the store. Just wouldn’t make sense to sell a wide selection of heavy jackets in a hot climate for example. Anyway, been watching you for a few months and love seeing the variety of choices to shop from and especially the Walmart clothing because all the clothing on their website looks so blah. ❤
It's more than seasonal, it's just how the supply chain works, and it's not limited to Walmart. Every retailer is carrying less in store, and far more online.
Love your taste choosing the clothes that you show, but will love to see dresses appropriate for older women in their 70s . Dresses under the knee and with short sleeves. It is very hard to find nice dresses , this days everything is to short or sleeveless, none acceptable. Thank you!
I’m so glad to find a comment from another woman in her 70s. I am 75, so I have to pick and choose from ANY collection, from any presenter. I always wear a completer piece over any sleeveless top. I am 5’2” tall, so I can get more length by ordering (buying) the piece in the regular length. I always mentally add three or four inches to any dresses shown. I live in the Deep South, so I always look at any collection with that in mind. It is exciting to find another woman my age who is also on a journey to upgrade their wardrobe at this stage in life!
I appreciate your request, but I'm 51. I can't presume to know what someone 20+ years older than me would want to wear because I haven't lived that stage of my life yet. It would be like a 25 year old telling a 50 year old woman what to wear. The great thing is that there are so many talented women in that age group that are also creating content-mostly over on Instagram. I would search the hashtag #fashionover60 or #fashionover70. I know these two women are not in their 70's, but Tanya Foster and Susie Wright on Instagram also show pieces you'd probably enjoy.
Just curious, why can’t you show your arms as a 70 year old woman? I understand that they may not look like a 40 or 50-year-old or even a 20-year-old but God gave you the opportunity to grace us with your wisdom why hide behind clothing?
@@reneemyers6482If the weather is humid & hot, hot any age you can go sleeveless. I like sleeveless with maybe a slightly short cap sleeve or sleeveless with texture in the fabric. Bu 3:48 t darn if it's super summer hot - yeah sleeveless. Age so what. I see much older women go sleeveless & I don't look at them like they are too old for sleeveless. It's hot out be comfortable!
I live in Walmart country (Benton County, Arkansas) and shop regularly at the company's flagship store in Bentonville. I'm here to tell you that even in this store you'll be disappointed if you try to find the good stuff. Oh, how I wish Walmart would organize their clothes by major lines -- Scoop, Free Assembly, Sofia Vergara, etc. They could do SO much better!
The corporate store here in San Antonio does have their stuff organized by brand. But that does make me feel better that even in the land of the HQ it's still mostly online. I will admit I've been tempted to take a trip out there to see what it's like!
The rhubarb satin dress could be improved with some fisheye darts in the back, if you're already setting up a date with your sewing alterations person for the black scuba pants.

The FA cargo pants I took a chance on because a 27” inseam doesn’t really work for me. I got them in white (more of a cream, actually) and the length was perfect. A 30” inseam is my sweet spot if I’m wearing flats.
I also have them in black and the inseam is definitely 27”. They are not the black pants I usually reach for, although they are perfect in every other way.

I love your videos! I NEVER shopped at Walmart until I started watching you, but I have ordered a few things recently. Some things have worked great; some not so much, but I so appreciate the recommendations. As an aside, I have to ask what is on your forehead on your left side? It looks like a swipe of gray paint, and I couldn’t stop looking at it and trying to figure it out!

Greetings from Bentonville, lol! Cute clothes! Around here, folks (professionals even!) been wearing WM chic forEVER. Gotta say, though, for me, at that price point, given enough time, I can find better quality items for the same money elsewhere. It is good to see Walmart stepping up to the level of Target, though. There is definitely a customer for this, and hopefully this time they’ll stick with it long enough to see the impact instead of bailing after one mediocre quarter.
I literally stopped the video - temporarily of course 😂 - to order the Maurice’s shorts as they are EXACTLY what I need for summer :) That satin dress OMG

I don’t generally wear slips unless I’m dealing with static cling. As long as you’re wearing skin tone underwear, who cares if someone can see the outline of your legs?

I bought a “leather” dress from Walmart last year in a burgundy color and I have never received so many compliments. Everyone is shocked when I tell them Walmart + pockets!!

Hi Marnie. I am relatively new to your channel and have gone and watched many of your older videos. Your input has made me reconsider shopping at Walmart and I am happy to know that their quality has so greatly improved over the years. Your most current video featured Walmart jeans and a slip dress, however when I went online to look at these items right after watching your video, I was disappointed that ALL of the jeans were sold out and the slip dress was almost sold out as well. Hope Walmart restocks some of the items.
That's the thing with Walmart-you have to shop fast-and this release went unusually quickly!! I'm disappointed too!

I’m glad you mentioned that a lot of stores might not have everything you are showing in your videos. I worked in retail for many years and they definitely do have climate based selections of what is in the store. Just wouldn’t make sense to sell a wide selection of heavy jackets in a hot climate for example. Anyway, been watching you for a few months and love seeing the variety of choices to shop from and especially the Walmart clothing because all the clothing on their website looks so blah. ❤
It's more than seasonal, it's just how the supply chain works, and it's not limited to Walmart. Every retailer is carrying less in store, and far more online.

Love your taste choosing the clothes that you show, but will love to see dresses appropriate for older women in their 70s . Dresses under the knee and with short sleeves. It is very hard to find nice dresses , this days everything is to short or sleeveless, none acceptable. Thank you!
I’m so glad to find a comment from another woman in her 70s. I am 75, so I have to pick and choose from ANY collection, from any presenter. I always wear a completer piece over any sleeveless top. I am 5’2” tall, so I can get more length by ordering (buying) the piece in the regular length. I always mentally add three or four inches to any dresses shown. I live in the Deep South, so I always look at any collection with that in mind. It is exciting to find another woman my age who is also on a journey to upgrade their wardrobe at this stage in life!
I appreciate your request, but I'm 51. I can't presume to know what someone 20+ years older than me would want to wear because I haven't lived that stage of my life yet. It would be like a 25 year old telling a 50 year old woman what to wear. The great thing is that there are so many talented women in that age group that are also creating content-mostly over on Instagram. I would search the hashtag #fashionover60 or #fashionover70. I know these two women are not in their 70's, but Tanya Foster and Susie Wright on Instagram also show pieces you'd probably enjoy.
Just curious, why can’t you show your arms as a 70 year old woman? I understand that they may not look like a 40 or 50-year-old or even a 20-year-old but God gave you the opportunity to grace us with your wisdom why hide behind clothing?
@@reneemyers6482If the weather is humid & hot, hot any age you can go sleeveless. I like sleeveless with maybe a slightly short cap sleeve or sleeveless with texture in the fabric. Bu 3:48 t darn if it's super summer hot - yeah sleeveless. Age so what. I see much older women go sleeveless & I don't look at them like they are too old for sleeveless. It's hot out be comfortable!

I live in Walmart country (Benton County, Arkansas) and shop regularly at the company's flagship store in Bentonville. I'm here to tell you that even in this store you'll be disappointed if you try to find the good stuff. Oh, how I wish Walmart would organize their clothes by major lines -- Scoop, Free Assembly, Sofia Vergara, etc. They could do SO much better!
The corporate store here in San Antonio does have their stuff organized by brand. But that does make me feel better that even in the land of the HQ it's still mostly online. I will admit I've been tempted to take a trip out there to see what it's like!

I bought and returned the first Walmart denim jacket. I loved the way it looked on the hanger and even tried it on in the store, but when I tried it on at home, it was just too boxy
The Walmart jacket didn’t work for me, either. Plus, the sleeves were too short. My jean jacket from Loft from several years ago fits the best for me.
Yes-that jacket just didn't work for me. It's rare that Walmart has a total fail but this one definitely was.
