These videos are gold. Thanks man for posting this. Only thing I had to figure out on my own was to keep output wires on the outer layers. If I keep the shielded wires in the middle. They would be the furthest away to prevent interference.
Nice job man cant wait to see the progress. I'm in the middle of building my first harness for my 2jz swap. So I love watching harness building videos.
Thank you for the good video! Can you also explain what to do with the shielding from the wire through the round connector (on the firewall) to the ECU? Thank you!
If you would do a wire tuck and completely new harness. How would you measure the lenghts? It looks like it is impossible to get the right lenghts even without consentric twisting.... Like you said, I could measure the lenghts with rope or wire, but it wouldn't act like the whole complete twisted wire harness. Then I could add some lenght to it, but as I said, doing a wire tuck and would like it to be extra perfect. Just looking to hear your thoughts considering my wishes :) Subed and looking forward the next episodes.
luke tombroek I usually try to organize the layers in such a way that the shortest leads are on the inside layers. That way when the lead comes out of the harness it’s a cleaner transition than if it was on an outside layer. I’ll show more of this in the concentric twist video. Other than that, it doesn’t really matter. It’s mostly just trying to make everything fit in a nice bundle. With this harness, with varying wire gauge and shielded cable, you’ll see it’s a challenge.
I’ve realized I didn’t cover how to properly size the wire for the component! I’ll cover that in the next video.
Any idea when the next one will be online I'm super excited about it tbh
luke tombroek it’ll be the end of this week or the beginning of next!
@@signal_msw waiting for the next part tbh love to see the next part of the build
Part 2 out now! ruclips.net/video/UipOC60pPso/видео.html

Not a bad idea man! Thanks for the feedback. This next harness build I'll cover in much more detail.

William Robinson thanks! More to come soon.
Any chance you can give us a time span for the next video 🙈😅
I'm about to attempt my first real concentric twisting so this series will really help me out!
Jaime Deloach awesome, that’s why I’m making these!
Great video. Very hard information to come by on the internet. Excited for the next video! Keep up the good work. Subbed
2jz Trav thanks! 🤙🏻👌🏻
Very excited for the next video!
Awesome first vida mate please keep em
Coming inmediato fan right here !
Thank you, more coming soon!
Thanks 😘 for sharing knowledge 😊. Waiting for part to
Out now!
Sick video bro!
More please!!!!
Thanks for the the video Brother! How much would you would charge for a work like this? Just comparing Swedish prices :D

heturbo yup! That will definitely be included in the next video.
Can you maybe also tell me, or give me a link from the Brad Lock battery connectors you shown on the previewed video? Can´t find them on Mouser
In only one person, but I would love to see how you branch off the main trunk, how do you organise/twist those? How do your junctions work? Cheers 🍻
Great job man
jeff oli Thank you sir!
Did you give up? Where is part2? I was really looking forward to it.
Life has been absolutely crazy! I'm uploading the second part over this weekend!
Dope, instant sub!
SovL:Remedy thanks!
Do you shield all DPO’s? I was wondering if a single bar conductor would suffice to shield like the fuel injectors etc. thanks.
No, I don’t. I only shielded these injectors because the factory harness did so.
How to you figure out where to put terminals mid-harness, and relays, in a small car (miata)

The general rule is to add 10% to the lengths of the leads to account for twisting. More on that in the next video!
Yasss!
Matthew Locascio hopefully it helps!
You mention a customer sent you the harness, do you have a business? How can I reach you for a project build?
I do, it's called Racecraft. Pretty stocked up at the moment though, so only if you're good with a long wait!
@@signal_msw I am good with that. Do you have a website or media page where I can tell you what I need?
Hey sorry for the lag on this. The best way to reach me is through my instagram @poormans180sx
Do you have any tips for what to do in what layer?

Looks worse than rocket science... maybe more like brain surgery. Mega respect anyway.
Not here to see your face only
Lol okay.
