Why the gap of Autolite is.052" but the new Motor craft platinum is.030" on my 2004 Expedition 4.6 2v plugs. Will this affect the engine if I will continue using it at .030" gap or should I follow the .052 gap that Autolite have.I just replaced it at 100,000 miles. Also found out Autolite is the maker of Motorcraft spark plugs. Why a big difference in gap?
