Indoor vegetable farming at home. Grow fresh and healthy tomatoes, cucumbers and/or peppers in WILMA Hydroponic system. We are using the WILMA LARGE with 4 * 11 liter buckets and tank content of 50 liter with dimentions (29.5” x 29.5” x 7.9” or in cm: 75cm x 75cm x 20cm)
We recommend to use clay pebbles in the bottom of each bucket if you use coco and perlite mix.
The timing of water and lights should be adjusted accordingly. We have changed the water to 20 min water on every 8 hours, and the lights are off 10 hours and on 14 hours.)

Do you have to change the water in the wilma during the growing period, or do you just top it up and add more nutrients? Also what sort of grow light are you using?

Hi, and thanks for your comment :)
We mostly just top off with water and nutrients (and adjust EC/pH), but I think we changed the water once during the grow period with a pump. For this system we used some old lights we had lying around:
      lumeri.no/collections/profesjonelt/products/lumeri-pro-line400
      lumeri.no/collections/vekstlyspaneler/products/lumeri-pnlx600-li
There are better lights than these out there now :) Especially the one with fans makes a lot of noise, and we dont like the blue/purple light, but they do the job.

Thank you for showing the roots and to rather use small pebbles.
Just one question did you use 18liter wilma pots or are those the 25liter. Seems in south africa we only get the 4pot 18liter

Hi, thank you for your comment. We think the buckets are only 11 liter, so 18 liter buckets should be good😃 Good luck with the growth🌱
