Absolute legend at Bristol City, I used to live round the corner at bedminster down. A number of city players lived in that area in club houses. Got to know Chuck Drury well, absolutely lovely man. I remember the Oldham game as a ten year old.
Worst keeper we had, way too short always getting beaten by taller centre forwards.. First maych v Huddersfield in 68 stood behind his goal at the old park end..... 90 th min a tame shot slipped thru his legs and ended up a foot just over the line... Hands like bars of soap...😮😮
