The more backline you have, the longer your titans survive. A solid troop type for backline fodder are shielders or lasers. I prefer shielders as they give benefit to my frontline and are good at soaking up damage.
I am giving away my tips now. I t seems the fleets appear from the side and behind… because your city was surrounded by all sides on the map. The attacks come from all angles
Hello! How can I determine which troops are melee, mid and long range? I can't find info on it. I heard the best configuration is 30% melee, 10% mid and 60% long range. Thanks!

I'm in 146 so I'd say roughly 3 years give or take.

I'm not sure what you mean? Melee=frontline (axes, tanks, armored infantry, shredders) midline = (storm troopers, rockets, machine gunners, bikes) backline = lasers, shielders, snipers, cannons).
