Current got NORTH STAR ( NSB - AGM31 ) what’s the estimated cost to replace them to lithium batteries or should I just buy one ones currently in my 2018 cascadia
Do the lithium fully charge with the existing/original voltage system and alternator. Everyone is saying they will never fully charge and could be bad for the alternator which is why Freightliner and Volvo are still using AGM. Is this true? Also I called your place to pick up 8 batteries my next time through Ohio. Spoke with a lady who never called me back after a “meeting”
Typically alternator has a voltage range of 13.5 to 14.5V. Please refer to your specific alternator to find the specification of the vantage range. Our lithium batteries requires 14V to fully charge the battery. We have installed our batteries to all the makes of the trucks, so far they all can be fully charged.
Sorry about not calling you back! She gets tons of calls per day, sometimes she may forget about it. We apologize for it. Feel free to call us back and schedule a pick up. As our battery inventory is getting low again and won’t receive new inventory until January.
Sorry. But the videos were great. Helped answer and explain some of the common issues. The are now basically commercials. Either an advertisement or just trying to sell batteries or heaters whatever. Recommending dealers and products.
Well, we appreciate the comment. But would like to share our thoughts. Most of the videos we watch on RUclips have sponsors, or is some sort of advertisement. Other RUclipsrs promoting products they don’t even use and know. We happen to sponsor our own business and promote our own products that we know and we use and we believe it is the best for people. Why not? People enjoy the content and learn where to get the products that would be beneficial for them, wouldn’t it be good? Please note, we only sell products that we personally use and know, or we develop based on our experience that we know other truckers would love. I think it is a great things for the trucking industry. Don’t you think?
Awesome! Hope you get plenty of work sent your way Ryan.
Thanks! 🙏
I’ve been under the impression you need a different charging setup for lithium ion batteries .
Is that not the case?

Life expectancy of these batteries and what is the approximate cost?
8-10 years. Please refer the battery price we shared in the description and figured how many batteries you may need. Installation is 2-3 hours.
@ thank you
👍
Patiently waiting for batteries to drop below $500. 🤦♂️

No
Can the lithium starting batteries be used with an ultracapacitor ? lets say 6 batteries then add something like a skelstart
It's what I use as system for over 7 yrs

I'm a new owner oper w/ Landstar. Can you do the required 120 day tractor inspections they require?
Completely useless in cold weather
Why do you say that? Our battery operating temp is -40f to 149f.
@ As far as I know charging lithium batteries in freezing temperatures can damage them and capacity will be lower
Anyway I don’t want to be an early adopter for this technology. I let someone else to have it. Only time will tell
