Now we don't have to worry about spoilers... at least until we get a chapter 2 on this mod. As for what to do next, learn how to use the compact computer using ALL the functions!
Crashlander dev here. Just so you know, we rebalanced the resource rod drops. Now overworld mining gives you mostly stone, to get a TON (and I mean a ton) of precious minerals like metal and copper you gotta go to the mines. Also we got another update in the works that will add a ton of cool stuff, so you definitely will have more things to do!
@Succulentquarter No problem! As I said, more on the way. I hope you like birds, fish and other wildlife *wink*! KaN's gameplay is a treat to watch, though he is quite oblivious sometimes. But my favorite thing is definitely the fact that he will stick with the mod and not ditch it halfway through or after speedrunning the main story and not even seeing half of the content (not pointing fingers here), you know the whole thing about liking the customer that keeps using your product and also enjoys it. Feel free to ask any questions btw, I have a lot of cool trivia to share!
@@ADonutMando the chemical bench and the crafter weigh the same? And yeah Kan's series is the only one I've really enjoyed watching even though he is oblivious lol And hear me out here. The garage door at the Hq opens and just has a really big air lock so someone could drive a truck of stuff inside. Awesome mod, if I played sm I would play
@youtubeSuckssNow No, I think we did tweak weights a bit. Either way, sm doesn't allow you to set weight directly, only density, so even if stats-wise they could be the same density, their size makes them weigh differently. Nope. Too much pain for what is essentially useless. The idea of multiple entrances is a remnant from back when the HQ didn't have a loading screen and existed in the world. As you can imagine, the lag was immense. You should totally play sm! The game is great, even where it is right now!
Sounds good. Scrap Mechanic is the only game I have that can run without overheating my GPU since its fan died. I've been using a desk fan, but it only does so much, so the more things I have to do, the better.
He's really been fixated on that whole losing crates or crashing when entering HQ thing, no one said it was definitely going to happen, only that it MIGHT, so better backup in case it does.
My reaction upon completing the main quests was: "BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH..." I honestly thought that the antenna explosion would be far more collateral than that, it certainly looked like it should've been.
I could be mistaken, but I think comments about building the antenna further from your base were more worried about the camera clipping and making the cut-scene look worse than any mechanical effects.
They NEED to extend this mod! That ending is SOO anticlimactic and half the items that were unlocked weren't needed for anything! All of the cool stuff like the glider, speed boots, fins, oxygen tank, large battery, varies googles, and so much more have no purpose. PLEASE continue updating this mod and Bring this story to the end it deserves!!! Great job!!!!!!!
No spoilers, but a fantastic trick I learned you can do which is incredible, you can make a row of chests, and in the back of every chest you have a filter vacuum pipe that faces into the chest, and you do that for every chest, link them all up with regular vacuum pipes and on a single chest not apart of the row of chests you add a chest with an extractor pump facing out of it link that up to the system and once you set the filters for each filtered pipe you literally have a fully automatic sorting system that's pretty affordable based on the things you have at the moment and it allows you to just walk up to a chest, dump everything in and it sucks them all out and pits them into the correct chest
mean in the sense that your rather valuable resources gets blown up and rather meh ending, they are still updating the mod so id imagine a they would expand on it later, maybe when the scrap-mechanic devs releases the their mayor update,
You should definitely make a giant farm. A lot of the things you’re having trouble with (wax, component kits, copper, etc) can be bought with crops instead of making them manually. Farming can be scaled, while manual collecting can’t.
Well there not totally wrong it is invincible but after it built but you can fully assemble the tower but once you activate it something happens!!! No spoilers
Blueprints become indestructible after they are completely and correctly built. (FYI, you can add blocks to them before completing them, and those blocks will also become indestructible. Also FYI there is a way to remove indestructability.) And after the antenna blew up, it became normal again and lost its indestructability. Since pushing the button that blew up the antenna was part of the build, the antenna never actually became indestructible.
@@LoPhatKao mine does, but I had to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod to make it download the update. Do you have a mount on filter in the assembler/workbench?
Now is it just me or is Kan's voice audio slightly to the right? I've noticed this in videos of the pasts 2 weeks at least now and also in that recent Zeepkist video, where Kan's voice was slightly to the right but Dapper's voice audio was fine. But then on Dapper's side of Zeepkist, both voices were centered. Surely this isn't just me, right?
the ending is pretty dissapointing. maybe if just the battery blew up and the whole structure stayed intact, thst way you get a cool art piece at least
He backed it up in case it was crashing or something, due to all the people telling him to not build it that close to base (luckily he didn't actually get spoiled for what exactly happened, and the reaction was indeed amazing for that reason). I very much doubt he is gonna use it to go back to it now afterwards
Dude I'm all for farming and trading but seriously trade for stone and craft polished metal you are not only doing it backwards but that's such a waste
Complains about the cost of the antenna but fails to reclaim the loose bits. I predict the next episode will begin with an angry rant about how the remaining antenna pieces just "disappeared." Shame that you can't just delete them with the lift to return the parts to your inventory...
Dumbest ending ever... since you have a save file you should go back so you can reclaim more resources... if you're going to keep playing that is (I quit after that nonsense ending.)
What should we do next in Crashlander?
Could you please get all of the spud guns and make improvements to your flier
Build the new drill
Now we don't have to worry about spoilers... at least until we get a chapter 2 on this mod.
As for what to do next, learn how to use the compact computer using ALL the functions!
you could finish building your flyer and explore the map
Add saws to the front of your vehicle so that you can drive into the cows and saw them

I am pretty sure the "Don't worry about protecting it" comments referred to "once it's finished".
Well, it exploded, so I guess it wasn't indestructible even finished, after all xD
You can hear the disappointment
I think it is invincible when it is finished.
Edit: The antenna doesn’t need to be protected, because you know what happens.
it isn't
You missed an Update- Storage vault! Filter pipes and more!
We accidentally gave kAN trust issues from our tips being variable, and prevented spoilers by him not believing us 🗿

Do the farm automation thing before the other quests.
The glider gives you a reason to put a roof on your crafting level like I've been suggesting for the last dozen episodes. 😉
It is such a mean ending to the main Quest line...

@kanGaming They said there will be a part II, so there will be more to come and to do.
So glad the series isn’t ending yet
you should compare the propellers in the crashlander mod to the vanilla thrusters on a boat
Also yes if you finish the construction than just like bills shed it can't take damage
0:08 thats an good excuse
Once the tower is built, it becomes indestructible.
Brackets needed: Yes.
Kan, you said : "I have so much beef from growing." Beef??? You have beef from growing??? How's that? :D
Plenty of Llub attacks, that's how...
I stopped gutting your videos in my notifications. I dont know why, but im glad i got this one
You missed the 2nd log you got, which you should check out.
How long before the main storyline in scrap mechanic gets its next chapter?! Feels like been waiting years!
It has been years :(
If you end up playing a different survival mod sky mechanic is good

Talks about the ease of trading for 1 item while forgetting about trading for component kits

Did Kan find the coal stash in the in the mine?
alright i've finally caught up and ngl that was the funniest freakin ending i've ever seen oh my god
I feel like the antenna is getting attacked only because you built it right next to the farm
KAN , will regret not moving the tover . 😅
it is called an enhanced drill and you feed it chemicals to blow up rocks

Kan you should do multiplayer do this with kosmo like you did in vanilla
float tires
the ending is pretty dissapointing.

Backing up your save isn't the best idea as you get something for completing the tower
